I am a previous employee of Sonic. I ordered the other day with my girl in the drive trough. I was excited I have not had Sonic food in so long. I really was craving a breakfast ultimate bruitto. In the drive trough the person on the intercom taking out order kept rushing us asking us every other sentence is that it .... we didn't barly order alot only two breakfast meals. Please give your customers time in the drive trough to know what they want. It's rude to rush and completely unnecessary. We placed the order and got it from the window. My power ade was about the best thing we got. Our tots right out the window as soon as we drove off I ate one and it was cold and greasy with only a little bit of salt. It was the worst tot I have ever had. I then went to my breakfast bruitto and surprise surprise that was cold and stiff. Idk what their employees are doing now but that food sucked. We didn't have time to go back because we had places to be like the doctor appointment I had and work. So I called the customer service and was told I could get a new meal. I was promised to get what I originally paid for and was told that Sonic would call me to come get my meal. They never did. I gave them 3 days to call and nothing. I call again and customer service again says this time we can give you coupons on the app but you have to purchase something to even use it. I'm like your trying to take more money and give me less then what I paid for. I appreciate the offer but I want what I originally paid for. My. 2 breakfast bruittos and my Sonic burger. Along with tots. I want it fresh like it's supposed to be not left sitting out. Ok said customer service we can remake the meal. The Sonic that messed up will call you. They never did. Now tomorrow I'm gonna go ask for my meal personally. The reason I haven't gone in the 1st place because the fast food joint is far from where I live and I only pass Sonic when I need to go to the VA or go to a friend's house. If Sonic does not make what they owe me tomorrow I'm gonna go inside and make it myself. I worked at the restaurant as a cook for over a year as a high school student. Read moreThe customer service here is very poor. We ordered 2 kids meals with corn dogs didn't get the toys for the kids meals. Had to ask for them. One drink was a raspberry sweet tea it didn't have the flavoring in it had to send it back to get it fixed. Ordered 2 sausage egg cheese burritos only received one had to ask to get the other one. Asked for extra picante sauce didn't receive any at all. When we asked about it we were told they didn't have any. We'll that would have been nice to know if the girl taking the order told us. Also, we ordered a #7 the foot long hotdog, with large tots and a large vanilla coke they didn't even ring the food up right on this and charged for everything separately then charged for the wrong hot dog as well. Had to send the hot dog back for the one I had ordered. I have NEVER in my life had this many problems with one order. Seems as there needs to be some retraining done. Also, it would cause less confusion on employees if the order taker would actually listen to the customer and then repeat the order so she/he knows that the order is correct so we aren't having to go and have all this food replaced which would cut down on waste. I'm not looking for anything free as to I don't live in the area but figured someone needed to know about this considering I can do a survey because there is no store number in the receipt. Read moreOrdered using the app. Arrived a few minutes early. While there waiting for my order. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger no tomatoes and a LARGE onion rings and a sweet tea. As we were waiting I could see through the window a young lady flipping a piece of cheese back and forth in her bare unprotected hands and just hoping that it wasn't going on to my burger. When another young lady came out with my order I asked about the handling of my food and she said it didn't go on my order. Since I was the only person there (8:10 pm) I could not trust that It wasn't put on my order. When I got home with my order I went to pull the cheese off and found that there was only the burger bacon and cheese on the burger which should have had lettuce and mayonnaise. I opened the LARGE onion rings and there were only 6 small rings......but wait.....I took a drink of what should have been sweet tea and it was unsweetened tea. I guess if your going to mess up and mishandle my food you may as well mess up the whole order. I tossed out the burger and unsweetened tea I only ate the onion rings. I've used this Sonic a few times before but not anymore. I did reach out to corporate sonic and the only reply was a survey on how my experience with the sonic customer service was even though they never replied to my concerns.
