Josephine's Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Smithfield

This is a long & overdue review, as I have been coming to Josephine’s since it’s opened. I can absolutely say this place is a 10/10 every time. The coffee is always on point and the breakfast sandwich are amazing. The hash bolo is to die for (it’s a good hangover cure) but the south county has my heart. I could put that maple bacon aioli on everything. You can tell everything is super fresh and the chef does a wonderful job. Despite me raving about the bfast sandwiches, im normally a sweet breakfast person and I usually grab a muffin. They are made fresh in house daily and they are some of the best muffins I’ve ever had. I have also had lunch there a couple of time and the turkey sandwich did not disappoint (see attached picture). Not only is the food/drinks good, the staff always makes me feel welcomed when I come in. They very quickly learned my name and it made me feel good and that they cared. And to top it all off Josephine’s turns into a coffee bar at night. I have only gone once but the drinks were delicious and strong. I haven’t tried the desserts yet but it’s definitely on my list of things to do.

The staff is incredibly friendly constantly checking in to make sure everything is perfect without ever being overbearing. You can feel they genuinely care about your experience.

The food? Absolutely amazing. Every bite feels like it was made with love and attention to detail. It’s the kind of comfort food you look forward to all day, which is why this has quickly become my go-to spot after work.

On top of that, the place is spotless and well-organized, which just adds to the welcoming vibe. It’s rare to find a place that nails great food, exceptional service, and a clean, cozy atmosphere all at once, but Josephine’s Conee Bar does it effortlessly.
