I went to McDonald’s in Smithfield Utah today at about 8:00 P.M on August 12th. First: When I received my food they had piled three meals, and an extra sandwich inside one of their big bags. My experience with McDonald’s (in general) is that they do this all the time. I don’t like it. I’d like to be able to get to my meal fast and quickly if I’m on the road and I am unable to do that if all the meals/food end up in one bag. Second: when I got home to eat my food the fries were dead. They were probably sitting there at least five to ten minutes after their timer for new fries to be put down went off. All of the fries were dead. Third: after eating three bites of my double quarter sandwich, I noticed, one the third bite that one of my patties wasn’t just raw in the middle but also still cold.
I would like to say that I’ve been going to McDonald’s for years and this is the first time that the service was this bad. There was one other time about four years ago when the service was poor like this and I ended up with food poisoning. If I end up getting food poisoning again, because of lack of care from employees, I won’t be returning ever again to McDonald’s. I know that doesn’t make much of a dent but hopefully this message will get out there and more people will be more cautious when it comes to McDonald’s. But most importantly, hopefully the bigger people will see this message and actually put a stop to bad service/behavior.
I would like to emphasize that ever since I got food poisoning from McDonald’s the service of McDonald’s has gone down. If you are a customer please let the world know of how you were treated/served. The more that’s posted on the service the more likely someone will actually do something about the service. So please, write a review if you’ve had bad...
Read moreBest McDonald's in the valley! This was the first time ever that ALL of our food was fresh and not made sloppy. The food looked as if it was straight out of a commercial and tasted so good!
Only thing to complain about is the happy meal toys! My kids favorite place to eat is McDonald's so we eat here fairly often. Our kids get the SAME TOY EACH TIME and we deal with happy meals not being happy too often. It's actually kind of annoying because our kids love to go and aim for another toy than what they already have which NEVER happens unless the toys completely change. A really BIG bummer!!
Update: Doordash here a lot and noticed food through doordash is often not the freshest. Seems as though doordashed food is less important. We've gotten cold food, stale fries & chicken nuggets, some chicken nuggets that are soggy, one order of 4 orders of fries had all the fries not only stale but brown (nearly uneatable). Definitely would recommend not preparing orders for doordash or pickup until the dasher has arrived. I'd rather wait a little longer than have bad food! Seems like there is a similar issue when ordering ice cream at the drive through. They prep the ice cream before customers even get away from ordering so when we get it, it's already somewhat melted and dripping because we're waiting on other customers to get their...
Read moreI understand working a Sunday, and I understand working early in the morning. But that doesn't mean that service should lack. We did an online order, and I know it was a big order. They did well to get most of it, however we were missing one sandwich and our sauce that we requested. So we drove back through the drive-thru and let them know, and they gave us the sandwich but no sauce. So I stopped again, walked into the store, and asked for sauce again. But the gal did not say one word to me. So she comes back with hot sauce instead of mild which is what I asked for. And when I asked her to get mild instead of the hot, she gave me a blank stare, grabbed mild sauce, dropped it in my hand, and said nothing to me. I don't want to sound like an old person, but kids these days. If they would have just done it right the first time, then they wouldn't have to be frustrated with a customer coming in to get their order...
