A great pit stop for some fabulous Mexican food and cozy family vibes. Eva’s kitchen is bursting with joy and just a delight to dine in. The staff seem really tight knit, service is top notch. Authentic food and genuine people. I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal made with love. The tortilla chips and salsa were great. We ordered the Poblano Relleño (the fried poblano was excellent!) as well as the picado with steak, chicken and shrimp. The sautéed vegetables were amazing and the meats were incredibly flavorful and tender. The beans and rice were good too. A fair price for the quality and amount of food, would definitely stop by again and recommend you do too!

Great staff, food was good, 4/5. Even that score is a bit generous, but we were treated like we were family and not strangers passing through a small town on our way home to Phoenix. The staff went above and beyond expectations. Grabbed us anything we requested with a smile and speed. Our server was very kind to my 88 year old mother in law. Food came out fast, if it was faster it would have been irritating, instead it was a pleasant surprise. Our server must have been the owner's daughter, she was identified as such by someone who was likely the owner. The facilities were old and a bit run down, but, I get this is Snowflake and not the city. Thanks to the staff.

Great stopping point between Holbrook (Pet Forest National Park) and Phoenix. We arrived a bit confused, thinking maybe the restaurant shared space with or had been replaced by a Christian bookstore. Nope! Don't be fooled by the exterior! A prior review convinced me to try the steak picado and it did not disappoint -- the steak was well seasoned and well cooked, as were the veggies. Plate was full, and it was a great meal. Dining companion enjoyed the mixed meat fajitas, and the sides etc. being served in edible dishes was a nice touch. Meal was a little on the pricy side but glad we stopped!

Place was dark and gloomy and felt so dirty. Every other 5 minutes there was always someone intruding. Never went here and I was looking at the menu 1st 3 minutes someone came and asked if I was ready 2 minutes later another person then 1 minute later I was in there for 8 minutes and was felt like being rushed to order. Ordered the nachos and the chips are bland hard paying 15$ for a literal scoop of sour cream for like 20 chips the cheese wasn’t melting the beans taste like Vienna sausage don’t get me started on the almost undercooked meat.Only thing this place has right is the enchilada sauce (store bought) but when you bite into the enchilada, it shouldn’t feel like grounded up dirt. The rice is bland has no flavor. You have a better chance getting a cleaner place to eat spend less money, get better food greater service At street on main. I can see why only older people like to eat here and not familiar with true Mexican heritage of food. You think this is Mexican food clearly Snowflake / Taylor needs to be a new restaurant in town. Also not wheel chair friendly I can see Wonderly couple, trying to push the way up into the building then giving up and going home or even to McDonald’s. PS at McDonald’s in Mexican food it would...

I seriously dont think I have ever seen a more dedicated woman that loves her own business and her family feel the same as she does.. I always get treated with respect and love and my kids love giving eva hugs!!! The walk into the restaurant was a very short wait while they made room for us even though they were busy and there was 6 of us. The chips and salsa is probably the best on the mountain possibly even the state. It's not super spicy just a great flavor.. we ordered and it seems like they already knew what we wanted they made it so fast and my kids , wife and I ate very big portions and the food was delicious! I have driven hours to go to Eva's and will forever as long as around.!! Wish they would open up more locations but that's also what makes her place special. You want a warm welcome with amazing food and good service Eva's is the place you wanna go to. Thank you eva family for being fantastic and giving us your best...

First of, my wife and I often eat at Eva's. I would, most frequently, rate our experience as a 5 star event. The food was good this evening, as it most often is. My experience was less less than stellar due to the service this particular evening. The server brought out a half basket of chips before we ordered. She seemed unfriendly. The food did arrive fairly quickly, this evening, as there were not that many people in the restaurant... perhaps a total of 5 tables being served. Our server never came back to check on how our food was, until she brought the check at the end of our meal. I asked for more chips during the meal. She came and dumped a handful into the basket at our table. I'm not sure if she was new, but someone should likely provide some training regarding customer service to the young lady. Good food, less than stellar customer service this particular evening. We will be back despite this...
