El Cupidos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Snowflake

When I asked my husband about his meal he said, "BEST-TAQUITOS-EVER, full of meat and cooked to perfection!" I got two cheese enchiladas and was equally satisfied with my food. 😍 There was enough enchilada sauce and the beans and rice on the side were delicious! Mmmmmmmmm!!!!! We are DEFINITELY coming back. This will be our #1 Mexican take out choice from here on! Next time I want to try their breakfast options! I'm already thinking of an omelet or breakfast burrito as my next pick! Visit #2 11/1/22 We tried the chile relleno with shredded beef, the Arizona burrito and the rolled taquitos with guacamole again. 3/24/23 This is the best authentic Mexican food I've had from an actual restaurant instead of a food truck in the most Mexican part of the valley. We've been about 20x now. I tried the relleno ahogada tonight and I wish I had tried it earlier! It's DELICIOUS!!! I love this place! 🤤

Yesterday, (04/29/2021) was my first time ordering the party tray. Very excited because it was going to be for my birthday party on Saturday!

Somehow Saturday got confused with Friday, so they made the food a day early? They told me, that I told them Friday. I don't remember saying I wanted it Friday, but I do remember saying Saturday, and that I wanted to give them more than x1 day heads up because I didn't know if I needed to order in advance... They took the order and said it would be ready. VERY COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY SERVICE! Somehow the order was changed to the very next morning! They can say I said Friday all they want, but that will not change the date of my request and party.

Finding food...

I went to Snowflake to get a scan done. Snowflake is about 30 minutes from my house. After the scan I asked the lady at the counter where they go to eat and she suggested El Cupidos, said they had just gone the day before and regularly go there. With two of us eating, I must have spent $14. As someone else mentioned, they have a cream cheese sauce I've never heard of but it was Mexicany and very good. If we need back in Snowflake, we will stop there again even if it's just for the auguas in the machine. Reason: food was good, price was reasonable and the staff was friendly and seemed to be happy we where there and not luke warm as some places can be but friendly and helpful even when I asked a bunch of questions...
