The Perkatory — Restaurant in Snowflake

Although; I do understand it was 4th of July morning… but to remake our 4 large coffees that were $43 and made wrong. Only to be handed to us looking nothing darker than HORCHATA; if only it had tasted like horchata. Horrible coffee experience and a waste of money. We even tried to fix them with adding cold brew from the store… it was terrible and went down the drain. It’s a really cute spot and maybe by the looks of the other reviews it might have just been an off day. But unfortunately; my family and I won’t ever be back since our money was wasted. Drive thru is absolutely narrow and awkward but I can see the vision they had. Maybe the non coffee drinks are better! They looked and sounded pretty interesting. This place is never consistent. When it first opened it was awesome. Then it has been up and down ever since. I experienced a rude, disrespectful girl by the name of Grace, so I stopped going to this place. Months later I thought I would see if things perhaps have improved but no such luck! I went through the drive through 30 minutes before closing. I ordered a Caramel Mociatto very light ice, they did not have the milk I wanted it made with. I wanted Caramel drizzled in the cup. Well, apparently very light ice is not an option, cup was full of ice, it was so weak, did not even taste like coffee, it was gross! and the cup had no caramel drizzled in it. I will not be back. Stopped by the Perkatory while visiting family and fell in love- hard. Becca and Sam were so kind and inviting. We ordered a cinnamon roll (which was warmed to order), a pb oatmeal cookie and a dirty chai. Everything was fresh and crazy delicious. I bought a pound of their freshly roasted espresso (literally watched the beans roasting while we ate) and i can honestly say it’s the best I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Both my husband and i find ourselves saying every morning after our first sip - “These beans are so good!” Needless to say, we visited the Perkatory more than once on our trip.
