Sofia's Restaurant — Restaurant in Socorro

I’m not sure why there is a recent bad review, but please take those with a grain of salt. Sofia’s has been our go-to for YEARS, and I am not even a San Elizario native. Sofia is always here and when you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and welcome from her, her daughter Nancy, and the comforting home-town atmosphere. I always feel like I’m inside a huge family dining room. My go-to is the Plato Mexicana and it never disappoints. Their burritos, flautas, burgers, enchiladas, and breakfast items are also really good. These are just our normal orders but everything is phenomenal. Love that they also bring you chips and salsa with a cup of whatever caldo they have that day (menudo, Fideo, posole, etc.). Will forever be loyal customers here, and you won’t regret if...

We come from the west side, we have been looking for a good Mexican food place and ended up all the way over here, just looking around and ending in Sofia's restaurant. Me and my wife were super happy with the food and very tasty. My wife had a milanesa torta, and she was very pleased. I had a stake ranchero, also very delicious. They gave us a plate of sup de fideo, super delicious, some chips and salsa super delicious as well. The server is very well attended and nice. Overall the service is very good, the food is delicious, prices are very affordable and will definitely come back for more...

The food good not going lie but its the 6 time they over charge me... sometimes they don't even add it to the register they just give the price their own amount not even a calculator do they use they are big RIP offs.. food might be good but hate that they scammed me every time I'm not the only one they scammed Ive asked many ppl I know and they agree as well...i still keep on going but this last time the female employee took forever to bring me missing food and was very rude I'll go pay somewhere else can't trust them no more... if you come to eat here make sure they don't...
