Came tonight to check this place out well big mistake we sat down they kind of just threw the menus at us ask for a drink. Once they came back with them we order our food. We got two taco, enchiladas plate and kids cheese quesadilla we’ll that took for ever I mean forever everyone else in the restaurant got there food before us even people who sat down after us. the restaurant isn’t big so I’m not too sure what went wrong I’m guessing the server never put it in. Fine I can understand that. Things happen but if I didn’t ask I don’t think we would ever get our food me. Never once did I get apology from the server about our food. I work in many restaurants atleast they could have done that. Once we got our food I ask for extra limes with my taco well with out the menus saying anything about charging you for limes they do fyi they charge you for having chicken and cheese enchiladas plates they up charge you on anything to be honest but the menus doesn’t even say anything for upcharge. So be aware. Once we were done because at this point I was so over this place just wanted to leave I ask for boxes I had to ask them couple of times before I got them. Working many years in restaurant business as manger, server and bartender I can say this was my worse experience ever in a restaurant. I have had bad experience I am always been very patient with service but this was the worse I recommend not going to this place they only seem to care about regulars and no one new to be honest. If you are new in the area and want to get treat bad then check this place out but I recommend going somewhere else where the server are nice and treat all...
Read moreOverall, the food was good. The guacamole is as good as my own, so it was delicious! The iced tea was a bit bland. While you do get a full plate of food, enough to fill anyone's tummy, the tamales and enchiladas are much smaller than I'm used to, however, the prices reflect that, and are very reasonable. The service is rushed but polite. The tortilla chips that are served with the salsa are flour tortillas, so if you're gluten free, as I am, that could be a problem, but I chose to suffer a little to at least try them. They are yummy. The salsa is mild enough for a baby, and overly tomato tasting, but the cilantro does come through at first bite, every tiime. The drinks are huge! Final note, if you love flautas as much as I do, you'll know that flautas are traditionally made with corn tortillas, but not here. Here, they are made with flour tortillas. Traditionally, taquitos are made with flour tortillas, so I would call what they have tacquitos, which I can't eat, due to the flour tortilla. Flautas taste better than a taquito anyway. That being said, maybe it's a "regional" thing, you know, different Mexican regions do different things with their food. I have no idea. I only know I can't have flautas here lol In summation, decent food for a...
Read moreMy wife and I have recently relocated to the area from Texas. Since we're building our house in the area, we had passed by Delia's a number of times, going out to observe the construction work, before stopping in. I'm so glad that we did. We've been back a number of times, sometimes multiple times during the same week.
Delia's is a welcoming, family run restaurant that serves great food at a very reasonable price. You're remembered when you return and feel like family when you sit down.
Did I mention we moved here from Texas? So, I would think we have some knowledge of Mexican food. If you can get past stuffing yourself with the best chips and salsa anywhere, the menu is expansive. Everything we've tried is delicious! My fave is Steak and Chicken Nachos, but it's a really close call with the Chimichangas and Pollo Loco. I think it's the cheese sauce that makes everything great, but it's much, much more. You're treated like you're valued from the minute you walk...
