EDITED: After I received a reply from what I am assuming is the corporate customer service on this review, I went back and read thru all of the reviews. I went back a year. Unfortunately, it looks like the issues that I posted about are common issues at this location that have consistently happened for at least a year. Each bad review has the same response from corporate, asking the reviewer to call customer service to provide more details so these problems can be addressed with the owner. First, this reply is even on the reviews who plainly stated in their review that they have contacted customer service. So if they are actually reading them, they should see customer service had already been contacted and not suggest them to do something they already have. Second, like I stated, the same problems with long waits, young managers being rude, stalls not working, and orders being wrong have been CONSISTENTLY stated over and over in all these reviews for at least an entire year. So why are they still happening? What good is it to make a complaint to corporate customer service if nothing is going to be done? Are they even addressing these issues with the franchise owner? If so, they evidently aren't attempting to make things better. Is there no consequences if a location constantly and consistently receives bad reviews because of the same issues? Based on what I am reading, the answer is a big fat No! I guess as long as people continue to go here and the franchise continues to be profitable, corporate isn't going to worry about bad reviews
We ordered three drinks thru the app. No food. We had to wait several minutes for our drinks. But to their defense, they were busy both in the drive-thru and the order spots. The first parking order spot we pulled in wasn't working and the one next to it, the entire menu board and screen was torn off the post and hanging halfway on the post and halfway...
Read moreI placed my order of 2 milkshakes on the app, then checked in at a stall. 10 minutes later, no shake and I'd noticed the progress thing was gone from the screen so I pushed the button to check on my order and was told they were drive-through only. Fine, whatever (though one would think they'd have said something when they saw the mobile order come in for that stall). Got in the long line and by the time we got to the window, 30 minutes had passed from the time I first checked in. I was handed 2 cups of what was once milkshake that had been sitting on a counter so long that they were about the consistency of chocolate milk. When I pointed out that they were melted, I was told that they'd just now made them and that milkshakes are supposed to be like that. Then a second employee came along and said that it was an issue with the ice cream machine serving melted ice cream. It was bad enough that they tried serving melted milkshakes to customers, but to tell obvious lies about it not once but twice was completely unacceptable. Since they were refusing to budge, I took my former milkshakes and left, but that is the last time I spend a penny on that place unless corporate (who I already contacted)...
Read moreStopped thru the drive through at this location. The girl working the window had her mask covering her face when she handed me food, but when she closed the window the mask came off. I looked thru a tear in their window graphics to find that there were 6-7 employees crammed into this tiny kitchen and only ONE was wearing a mask. They are all handling, standing over our food with exposed face. We have a county wide mask mandate, so this is not only against the law, but unsafe for the employees and customers. Sonic needs to reconsider scheduling and policies. In addition, to these unsafe practices, I was on the internet and saw a video from an employee at this location. The video showed the employee getting upset because a manager was allowing another employee to use inappropriate racial slurs while working. This is a hostile work environment for the same employees that also are working in a physically unsafe environment. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially in a time when unemployment is so high. The employees at this location are being forced to work in poor working conditions, while not doing what they can to ensure the safety...
