Fresh Burger Grill- Soddy Daisy — Restaurant in Soddy-Daisy

This is the second time that I have posted this as it keeps getting deleted. But in a nutshell, my wife and I visited this place and was very dissatisfied with the customer service and the quality of the food. We both ordered cheeseburger combo baskets with fries, Two soft drinks, and one order of macaroni and cheese bites and our order came to over $44. When you first look at the prices, you think that it is very reasonably priced but BEWARE. Make sure you read all of the fine print on the menu because you will be charged for everything. I think they even charged us for the wax paper that was in the bottom of our food basket. The macaroni and cheese bites were highly recommended by our waitress as she was telling us all of the customers absolutely love this appetizer. Actually, it was very disgusting. The cheeseburgers that were purchased were most likely burgers that were cooked in advance and placed into either steam or water until it was time to throw it on the griddle for an order. This is very evident and the taste of the burger and the fact there was zero seasonings on the burger to enhance any flavor. This meal actually upset my stomach. My wife and I both agree that we should’ve went to Burger King instead of this joint. I would not recommend this place for anybody go to Burger King where the burgers taste good. We will never go back to this place or give them our money. When we first walked in, we had to wait as we were not greeted and had to actually find an employee to ask what we were supposed to do. There were several tables available, but all the tables had empty Dishes from previous customers and had not been cleaned off. My wife and I both went to the restroom and washed our hands and still came out and had to wait on a table to be ready for us. Once sitting at the table, no one came to our table to take our order or to ask us for our drink order. My wife had to get up go over to an employee and ask the employee if we could please get some menus. To say the least, the service was horrible, and most of all, very disorganized. We had two separate waitresses, finally coming over to take our order with two different drinks coming to our table at two different times. I’m not sure how long this place has been open but I don’t see them remaining open for a long period of time unless they change how they cook their food and the quality of food that they presented their customers, especially...

A big, fat, meh. We are talking about the Soddy Daisy location. We arrived at around 6:00. The place smells funny, but we said we would try it anyway. The restaurant was mostly empty. We ordered our food, and it arrived...eventually. One couple that came in after us got their order first, and a family that was there before us got most of their order when we had finished our food. As far as I know, there is a little girl still waiting on her food. My order was wrong, but they were willing to correct it on the check. They said they were trying to train new people and were short staffed, but it seemed more like the two people in the kitchen were in the weeds and there was one lady doing all the floor work. There was another person who rarely moved from behind the counter and spent her time just looking like she couldn’t figure out what needed doing. The food was ok, but certainly not the best. The onion rings were obviously frozen and the fries were under seasoned. We can chalk it off the list of places we wanted to try, so there is that. Can’t say we...

I've been dying to eat at Merv's since I fist saw the sign and thought it said "Mery's." To the people who left terrible reviews about the price being too high you couldn't be further from the truth. I chose a Merv's with Swiss, home fries, and a drink which cost me roughly 10$ which isn't bad at all. Try ordering the same thing at Sonic and I guarantee you will pay more plus there's no free refills at Sonic.

You definitely get your fill here at Merv's and as I said at a damn good price. The side of fries that I received was huge! Definitely more than just a wee potato and the size of that burger...a mouth watering 8oz double fist of heaven. Also while I'm mentioning the burger I'm so happy it doesn't come with ketchup on it! Sorry but ketchup ruins a good burger and this burger was so good!

Lastly if your on the prowl in good ol' Soddy Daisy with that hunger upon you. Pass up alp the other guys, completely forget about the God awful Scotties and go to Merv's and treat your taste buds. I'd give the place 11/10 if I could. Thanks Merv's for a...
