Well....my suggestion to this Dairy Queen would be to post your hours clearly on your drive through window--especially if your aren't going to shut your menu lights off right at the stroke of 9 and refuse business from that point..I waited in line behind 3 cars with one car behind me even and pulled up to your drive at 9:01--your staff of Young ladies did not answer your drive through intercom to take my order so I proceeded forward figuring it must be a bad connection since they had just taken the cars in front of me orders???? Get to the second window and am ignored for a good 2 minute as I get a front row seat of the 5 young ladies working throw ice cream on each other....At last a one of the young ladies comes to the window and asks if she can help me and I explain to her That i waiter at their drive through window for 5 minutes and no one took my order...her answer oh well we don't take orders after 9....ok and at this point I notice the gentleman that was initially behind has also pulled forward so I asked her if she took his order....nope same answer no orders after 9p...in my opinion good business practice would be to take overflow orders if there are people waiting in line before 9 but get to your window at 9:01 and if in fact your aren't going to take overflow orders do everyone else that may be waiting in line and get to your window a stroke past 9 a solid and kill the drive through menu lights or clearly post you don't take orders after 9 no...
Read moreSo we place our order and one of us ordered a bacon double cheeseburger basket. The sandwich was $6.99 and there is an up charge of $5.00 to make it a basket in which case it comes with coleslaw, toast, fries and a drink. I substituted the fries for cheese curds and the drink to a small blizzard. Our order comes to $53…wow wasn’t expecting that! Get the receipt and the charged me $6.99 for sandwich, $5.00 for the basket charge, and than an additional $4.24 for the cheese nuggets, and another $2.59 for the blizzard. So I paid $5.00 extra for a small thing of coleslaw and toast. WTH!! There prices are ridiculous. There menu doesn’t even match the actual Dairy Queen menu and the sandwich was disgusting—— the meat was like the meat they used back in the day for the school cheeseburgers and those tasted better. Will definitely NEVER go there again. If you order from there be sure to just buy your items separately and don’t...
Read moreAt the drive up we ordered burgers, fries, ice-cream sundaes, and a Pepsi. They gave us the sundaes first with no lids, so we ate them while waiting nearly 10 minutes - in the drive up- for the food. I thought the fries would at least be hot. They were hot-ish. But also hard and over cooked. Like they’d been reheated. The burgers had no flavor and no crisp or evidence of browned meat. I seriously think they may have been steamed. They were a weird texture also. And to top it off, the pop had no ice in it. Idk what’s up, DQ Solon, but we’ll be driving to Mount Vernon...
