Frida Kahlo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Solon

We came in 2 hours before close but it was a snowy day. We thought about leaving since they looked like they were closing but the Owner was super nice and happily invited us in to eat. However, the server with short brown hair and glasses was rude and disrespectful. She basically dropped our menus on the table instead of handing them to us. She did the same thing with the chips and salsa she dropped off. Even though we said thank you multiple times she did not once acknowledged us. Then when we were getting ready to leave we said thank you and she still did not acknowledge us. Will not be returning if there are rude servers like her....

Joel catered our wedding reception at the Palmer House Stable in Solon. We requested Street Taco Bar with 3 types of meat, chips and salsa, and a some cookies from the bakery for about 50 guests.

Doing business with Joel was beyond easy. There was no request he could not fill. He did all of the set up for the reception, arrived on time, and was super fun to work with. The food was amazing and all of our guests told us how delicious it was.

The food was no fireworks show good but no sparkles or zing. This was the basic food item minus the love. If you're hungry it will meet your needs if you want to wow someone over it will fall on it's face.

The margaritas were watered down and came out of some Slurpee machine. They didn't use any herbs on the tacos very bland. And the majority of the food looked prefab. as in it only had the very basic ingredients that's why I said there was no love. Still I would...
