Zoetic Coffee — Restaurant in Solon

Fresh, clean decor. This place buzzes like a beehive and I have to admit that I rarely see six plus employees running a small coffee shop with limited selections and services. There appears to be seating for a dozen, maybe two dozen customers. As far as coffee shops go this is about as white bread, bible thumping as it gets with a handwritten sharpie note on the cup sleeve that reads about how the "Lord" will effect my day +Chistian oriented decor/signage. The coffee, served as a neat cup of espresso was a fairly good however ~2.5 oz. poured from a fully automatic espresso machine with no option to alter the pour to your preference and served in a 12oz paper take-away cup. The breakfast sandwich was generally unremarkable reheated English muffin, egg and sausage patty with a pepper jelly and seemed more of a mess than worth the taste...

Wow, so, I finally stopped at this place! I grabbed a bite on my way back to Iowa City from New Lisbon. The 3 ladies working were tremendously helpful. They listened to my dietary restrictions and I enjoyed my meal with confidence. 🙏🏻 I ordered the Cranberry viniagrette salad + a cinnamon scone (such a great combo). The prices were very reasonable. They provided glass drinking cups for water and they served the food on beautiful glass plates. Thanks for caring about the environment! 🙏🏻 The seating was comfortable and the space was beautiful. One thing I'd like to advocate for is some more reading material (i.e. nature/craft/local magazines, books, etc.). So pleased to find such quality coffee in a small town like this while visiting family. As we were driving in, we were surprised at first to see the limited hours, but then thought about the local market and thought how it all made excellent sense - and how nice it must be for the employees to work a half-shift serving their neighbors but then be able to go home and be with their family.

And the employees were clearly happy to be working here! We felt very welcome even though they were closing in 15 minutes. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our order. The coffee is of the highest quality. I travel the world and can confirm that it is on par with any urban coffee one might find in Paris, Nairobi, Brussels, Addis Ababa, Chicago, Amsterdam, etc.
