Jillian's — Restaurant in Somerset

My wife and I used to order take out from here a couple of years ago and it was always great. Having that in mind we stopped by today for a sit down meal with our two kids. We were the only people in the restaurant and it still took 20+ minutes for our food to be served. My wife ordered the chicken caprese panini, which came as a chicken terryaki sub roll with a blob of mozarella on half the sandwich. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings, which I have ordered many times before, but this time they were extremely over cooked and not comparable to what i remebered. However the draft beer i ordered was great! My daughters chicken fingers were like saw dust, but being hungry, she made the best of it. My son ordered a cheeseburger that was very good, which made the visit not a complete disappointment. After i received the bill I noticed I was charged for 2 drinks we did not order, in which the server fixed when it was brought to her attention. For the four of us the bill came to $63. Most of the food was inedible and not taken to go. We used to love it here, but i can honestly say I will never go here again. There are far better restaurants in the area with a lower price point and higher...

We arrived at Jillians on a Wednesday night about 5:30pm. We decided to sit at the bar for dinner and drinks. We were greeted by one bartender who gave us menus and said she would return soon. We then sat there for anout 10 minutes before another bartender came to ask us what we would like to drink as the first girl was leaving for day. The new bartender gave us our drinks and said she would be back to take out order. Shortly after she came back and we ordered a Chicken Quesadilla and the Chourice Quesadilla. It was a slow night and it took probably 25 minutes for our dinner. Glad we ordered this and not something more complex. After we had finished, I had to ask a different bartender to cash us out. Honestly, no one here earned there 20 percent tip. But, I could never leave less. We were not wished a good night or anything. Terrible customer service overall. The Quesadillas were overpriced for portion as it was $10 for a half portion. We will not be returning customers. Was not worth the $. Can only imagine how it would be if they...

We came here for an early dinner on a Sunday and there was almost no one here besides a few men at the bar, so we were seated immediately. It took the waitress more than 5 minutes to come take our drink order and we had to ask for another place setting as there were only 2 on the table and 3 in our party. It was another 14 minutes before our drinks were brought over...And still no place setting. The waitress took our food orders, which only took about 20 minutes to come out. We had to ask again for the place setting when the food came out. She finally brought it! My husband ordered the Portuguese steak which was so overcooked he could barely chew it and his rice was dry and hard as if it had been sitting out and then zapped in the microwave. My mother in law and I both ordered the carbonara. The sauce was very watery and flavorless. This place was once pretty good. I would no longer recommend...
