Strong & Co. — Restaurant in Somerset

We went for the special, seafood ravioli posted on Facebook. We arrived at 2:30 p.m., there were 3 other tables seated. Our waitress got us water right away We asked for straws she told us she'd be right back and also took our drink order. I asked foe a pineapple Margherita as it was on the menu. She said they were out. I said okay Blueberry. She leaves, 15 minutes later the bartender brings our drinks (still no straws), she has a blackberry Margherita and tells me they are out of Blueberry. Frustrated I say it's fine no pineapple no Blueberry and she goes oh we have pineapple just order that next time. Ugh!

10 more minutes go by still no straw for our water. Waitress finally comes back and we again ask foe the straws she goes and gets them. We then order an app. She asks if we want to go ahead and make our lunch/dinner order. I say sure I came foe the seafood pasta is looks amazing. She informs me it's only available after 4 p.m. I'll have to pick something else.

The Facebook post nor the menu state special hours foe food neither is it posted in the restaurant. I was seriously disappointed we drove from Newark which isn't like huge but it sucks. I don't get out a lot and I really like this place. The waitress was just blah. She brought our app and said I'll give you time to pick something else. She literally waited over 30 minutes to come back. Like we honestly thought she may be waiting until 4 lol.

My parents recommended this place for a good bite to eat after a scenic drive into Somerset. Our waitress was great. She was kind and attentive to our needs. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo. It looked as dry as it tasted. He was not happy. I had the BBQ burger and I requested medium doneness, since the waitress asked how I wanted it prepared. It arrived well done, very dry. We waited for 40+ minutes for this food. When the waiter (not the same waitress we had) delivered our food, I asked for a large chicken pesto pizza to go. After we finished our meal, I went to the restroom and heard him say that he forgot to enter the pizza into the system. He told my husband that it would be 8 minutes. 20+ minutes later, we finally got our pizza. $65+ and almost 2 hours we were there and we didn't order any alcoholic drinks. My fiancé and I love strong and Co food and have had very good service everytime in the past but tonight I called in to make a take out order. I’m not sure of what girl I spoke to on the phone but I am assuming she is either new or lazy. I asked for an Italian wrap which under the sub section, you can make any sub a wrap which the girl on the phone seemed confused and irritated correcting me and saying you mean a sub? No ma’am I mean the sun but a wrap so she agreed finally and asked if there was anything else. I then asked for their Luau burger and fries which is absolutely amazing, she said that item does not exist on our menu…I stated yes ma’am I’m looking at the menu now and I have had that item in the restaurant before..she quickly changed her statement to they don’t have the stuff to make it.
