The Cove Grill — Restaurant in Somerset

Took Fiancé to The Cove last night for karaoke & drinks in hopes we found a new fun & professional merchant to become regulars at. To our surprise, our experience was everything but what we hoped for. Bartender last night was rude, unprofessional & inaccurate with karaoke information. We called to get info bout karaoke & time it started only to find out it didn’t actual start till nearly 1 hour later than said time of 8:30pm, Taylor the KJ was less than welcoming to us & those waiting for karaoke to start. Taylor sat at a table playing on his phone doing everything but karaoke for a while. Doesn’t seem like bar staff & KJ have any communication together. Upon closing out for the night, the bartender was quick to run our card but not inform us of the tab amount beforehand… by doing so we paid our tab with uncertainty we were actually correctly charged. I went for my 21st birthday and had literally the best time ever! Everyone was so awesome and nice!!! I was really nervous going to a bar but after a few minutes I was already super comfortable LOL lots of fun things to do while you're there like pool or darts, they have a jukebox too!! The food and drinks were AWESOME as well, we ordered a bunch of different kinds of stuff and there literally wasn't a single thing I didn't like (I'm very picky especially with food and alcohol so that's a surprising thing for me) Prices were so incredibly reasonable too! Genuinely was the best place I could've chose for my birthday, I will never forget how much fun I had!! Thank you guys so much for being so cool, I'll definitely be back as often...

I could hear the cook (Derek) in the back singing his heart out! At that point I knew the food was gonna be fire!!!
