El Cancun — Restaurant in Somerville

My wife and I have eaten here numerous times but this last meal was just an excellent dinner. Pleasant service, too. We had Flautas Huasteca and Molecajete, an excellent meal, and their salsa is the best around....the iced tea was not all that great but few restaurants have good iced tea anymore, sadly. Have had Pollo Con Crema, Tacos Roc, Quesadillas, Taco Salads, Fajitas...all have been very good. 2 Dominican girls in the middle of nowhwere in Tennessee (in Somerville)..came across this little Mexican restaurant..it was like hitting a gold mine! Great service..specially our waiter Jesus! The food was so good and flavorful. Had the rib eye steak with shrimps topped with a creamy sauce, rice & beans and fajitas. And enjoyed a delicious Banderita Mexicana - a yummie tri-colored drink. Surprised the staff didnt attack me for not knowing spanish, Surprised they didnt ask if i was mexican and where i am from, i usually dont spend my money or time on mexican restaurants because the staff is rude and condescending as soon as you tell them you are from the U.S and only speak english.
