AL A CART BURRITO: Oops they put everything on the side said the head waiter/manager/owner/part of the family, who said my request was really a Burriot al carbon, that i agreed to, also $9.50 never stating any upcharge problems or issues with my request. When he brought the dish I said yeah this isnt going to work i hate liquid cheese, i wanted green salsa and shreaded cheese inside with the beans, rice, bell peppers onions. "Oh youll love our liquid cheese its like gold." No, its like mayonaise that makes me want to puke. And he left the dish and walked away. 2 times he asked how we were doing, i said i was not enjoying the gristle in the flour tortilla and all the unflavored unseasoned bland mess on the sides. I wasnt going to send it back because i dont want to eat spit and floor trash. Then he charged me one for one for every item that the cook messed up the order and put on the side. In total the $9.48 al carbon Burrito was like $24 +/-, but it was the size of a Taco Bell soft taco, no kidding. I complained like 4 or 5 times, he never cared. They would not adjust the extra charges that they scammed me on and i wouldnt sign for the credit card reciept. They held my card hostage and i said mudt i call the police. They returned the card, i still refused to sign. Saying i agree to the menu prices but not the upcharge mistake cook. I still dont know what's in the burrito on the menu, gristle and flour tortilla? They called the police on me, so i couldnt leave ! Its now on YouTube: channel is Thorny Turtle Ranch and the video is "Burrito Scam", theyve run this scam before, its in other reviews too! Ill make more videos about their scam, with the other reviews from the past, other people. The food was beyond Bland. And the $1.50 in green liquid looked like tomato soup, only green, no consistency. This was unreal. Bizarre. Look at the video of them calling the police. Double charging me over a cooks mistake and itemizing an "al a cart" burrito. And even bringing such an order to the table and not acting on the customers objections. Oh the bell pepper and onions were like 3 and 4 thin small french fries of size, even less as much as one onion ring of food, $4.69 if memory is correct. Watch out for the scam. Most horrific dining experience ive had in my 52 years. Not sure what the mental disconnect is with the guy i delt with....."oh youll love it, its like gold." And really im not one to complain or argue over a bill. I recognized this as scam and other reviews confirm my suspicion that it is a pattern ! Stay far away from...
Read moreWhen La Palmas first opened - they were great! Myself and alot of people were excited to eat here, however these last few months they have just gone down hill & I don’t see a lot of people returning.
The menu prices are always changing, a printed menu is no longer trustworthy. Now two hand sized chicken quesadillas are $11+ and that’s with nothing else added! Which is ridiculous.
Today, I paid $21 for two small chicken quesadillas that came ICE COLD and soggy; and two small cheese dips and they were barely warm. What’s crazy is it took me a total of ten minutes from calling the order in and driving down the road to pick it up.
Whenever I use the drive through it’s a hit or miss with the staff being friendly. You either get dirty looks and scowls from 90% of the staff or get the one polite man who actually hands you were receipts.
Unfortunately this isn’t the first instance either. This is about the fourth incident I’ve had with overpriced & cold food, getting the order wrong, and dealing with...
Read moreIf you’re looking for high quality service and food stay away from this place. Every time I’ve tried eating here my husband and I have both been extremely unsatisfied. The food is so bland the fajitas had no seasoning at all, the vegetables were still half raw as though they had only been on the grill for a few seconds, the chicken and steak were impossible to chew and NOT SEASONED AT ALL. In my husbands meal the queso was watery and the rice was crunchy. And aside from that I specified no guacamole multiple times the cashier even repeated “no guacamole” back to me and they still put guacamole all over the lettuce and rice/beans that went with the fajitas. I can’t make this stuff up. I wanted to love this place but giving them the benefit of the doubt was pointless because the food is so awful every time. I’m typically not one to complain but this is just AWFUL. Save your money or drive to Vidalia/dublin instead for some food that’s...
