My Place Bar — Restaurant in South Bend

I'm a classy woman before anything. So I came to South Bend to see my family and do a Pre-Birthday Turn Up. I don't live here I don't know where to go so I asked around and also seen on Facebook people referencing My Place Bar & Grill & The Bend. I Should've went with my first mind because yall gon get this review and hopefully management fix it and apply it.

Started off on Johnson st. Nice vibe, Great Music. Left there meet up with my family (like 8-10 of us) got to My Place and it's packed ok koo cuz I was fly head to toe with my fur on👌🏾 let's Turn Up. My homegirl like it's $20 to get in. I said ok koo I feel like it's worth it just from the crowd inside to outside. Got to the door gave the man $40 for me and my homegirl. He let her go in and PUSHED ME in my shoulder told me to get back where your ID. I said "Sir please don't put your hands on me" He could've said "Mam hold on 1 second show me your ID please". Where is the respect ? Where is the customer service ? Yall had a little fraile light skin top flight fake security at the door pushing women. He threw me my money back. Ok 🤔 what man what GROWN MAN gets upset because you say "Please Don't Put Your Hands On Me" 🚩🚩🚩 We bounced. He turned down Hella Money and we obviously came ready to spend for my birthday & have a good time. Never Again. I never been treated that way at a bar in my life. Please get someone else to work the door because disrespectful light skin ain't it. Take ur ssa to work at a jail and man handle men not push ladies at the entrance of a bar when you should've been glad I graced my presence in there.

Needless to say we went back to Johnson St & they showed a Tremendous Amount of Birthday LOVE❣️ We Had a Good Time. Next time I will go with my first mind and go to The Bend. My Place Your Place They Place...

Best hidden gem in south bend. Great bartenders. Nice pool tables. Drinks on point. Friendly crowd. Chutney is amazing. Chico rocks. Can’t say enough about this place. Smoker friendly but big enough to accommodate all. If you don’t come here you are deneying yourself. Monday’s ate karaoke. Best bar in town. It’s like cheers...

0 stars, but couldn't post unless I put at least 1 star. Arrived to meet a co-worker, was kicked out for no reason. Clean cut folks are not allowed supposedly. Only homeless looking alcoholics and drug addicts it seems. Not worth your time....
