Food was truly delicious ... a nice amount with leftovers to take home, staff was friendly, our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Spup and Salad bar was nicely filled with plenty to choose from and replenished often ... we ordered mixed Grill (med rare steak was perfect chicken was moist shrimp was awesome I am nearly drooling as I type) with a side of smashed potatoes and an extra side of steamed broccoli... fried oysters with a side of steamed brocoli ... chicken tenders with a side of mac n cheese (moist crispy tender chicken and extra cheesy mac n cheese with both gooey and toasty browned spots perfect!) ... big serving of tomato basil pasta was beautiful and delicious ... and breadsticks were a nice soft airy bite even though our main dishes were already so good we had forgotten them til the last minute. Highly recommend the ppace! (dress attire is somewhat debatable as it is absolutely not a fast food joint ... we all had on jeans t-shirts (teens too, so ripped jeans and literal tshirts ... and just off work clothes lol ... been months ago in hoodies and jeans late night after work ... but others were more nicely dressed with collared button ups ...dresses... suit n tie ... not sure I have ever really seen a lot of younger kids there (ours were 14 and 16 ... probably wouldn't take a rambunctious flock of noisy toddlers or colicky newborn baby as it is a more sit down sorta fancy ... utensil using ... calm music playing ...don't talk loud or run around kinda "peaceful" restaurant) ... Date Night approved... business lunch ... formal gathering ... prom dinner ... they have a room (maybe 2) you can reserve for a larger gathering also ... we did birthday party and babyshower before and kids were noisy and able to move in that isolated part.... still not run around and be free and wild though ... not saying don't take kids just saying it'd probably feel like you're on a quiet airplane and people are staring and shaking their heads lol (hope that makes sense) awesome place ...great food ...go try it for yourself if you don't believe me. (Yes those 3 dots everywhere ... make up for all of the grammar flaws and lack of proper punctuation and probably many typos ... this is all just my personal opinion so not getting paid or I might have edited lol) ... think my daughter has a table pic I will try to update later with...

There was a party in side room and the hostess was nowhere to be seen we (being g local for 30 yrs) ended up direction people to the room where everyone was ( as we were eating) our Waitress was absolutely excellent. The pictures on line with table clothes is no more. The salad bar was bagged lettuce, looks like purchased from food lion, the Famous hamburger soup tasted like soap. The vegetables that are a come with entry (free) did not included asparagus it was $2.50 additional ( they gave you four pencil size) we decided on cheddar mash potatoes, so salty you litteraly could not eat (we are love salt people). The bread sticks (only give 2) were so hard that our Waitress laughed when we gave her her tip wrapped around the bread stick and wrapped the napkin around it. The increased pricing is for the new remodeling ( which did not include carpet same ole nasty stained carpet) and the portion control for horrible food needs addressing. Our Waitress did deduct $12.50 from our bill for fried oysters (which bythe way way is half the price) as she saw all of this play out. We've always loved Four Oaks, but it took the wrong turn. It was our second give it a try since the "REDO". NO ONE will sit on those seats, certainly not the elderly who have been their supporters all the years. May God bless the decisions Grey has...
Read moreIt is not often that I get to leave a 5 star. Review for a restaurant and it pleases me very much that I was able to do so for this place. Everything about this restaurant was absolutely perfect. Britneywas our waitress, and she was so personable, polite and very good at her job. The food was absolutely perfect and cooked perfectly. I personally had The stuffed shrimp, and it was so tasty and just delicious. My wife had fried scallops and definitely enjoyed them very much. We will definitely be returning to this place numerous times while we're in the area.
Edit, We came here once again and sure enough is just as fabulous as the first time, Anna was our waitress this time and she was very professional in every way and extremely polite. It seems as everybody here is just as nice as can be with their southern hospitality and once again I cannot stay enough. The food...
