As a last stitch effort to find a great local place for breakfast, my husband and I decided to try the quaint looking A Taste of Germany. I must say we were FINALLY pleasantly surprised! Sometimes these smaller places can be a bit off putting if you are not a local but that was definitely not the case here. The atmosphere is light and airy with lovely aromas at every sniff! The family owners were lovely; attentive but not obtrusive. So how was the food? Amazing!! Perfectly prepared to exactly how we requested (even though I asked for over medium eggs on a croissant sandwich which was not the way it is typically served) with fresh tomatoes and a French croissant that melted in your mouth. Then he told us that we could not sit at the lovely outdoor tables since we ordered only 'to-go' pastries and coffee (even though only one table was taken). Had to eat our $15 order on the curb outside. I read a similar comment about the seating - not sure why Robin doesn't know that 'to-go' customers can sit at the outdoor tables - must need...
