This is such an excellent addition to have in Cortez! , There isn't a better example of a more deserving, genuine and hardworking family for our community to show the support as a newcomer in town! The owners, Kate and Eddie really have a passion for family and food and it's evident with their incredible menu and welcoming atmosphere. We have been greeted with staff remembering our name after our initial visit, all menu items from the Chopped Brisket Melt, or special Chicken Bomb have been absolutely unique, the cocktails have fun stories and ingredients to go along with how they became a menu must have, the Happy Hour(!!!),the Trivia night with Mike for Music or the live Music on the Patio Saturday has all been such a good time that our calendar is already marked for all summer! Cheers to Pork Bellys for reminding us all to slow down, enjoy some good food with good people...and remember how grateful we are to have such an incredible slice of paradise in our backyard! They have breakfast lunch and dinner and specials for each, as well as a happy hour menu with specialty priced cocktails, beer and wine and bar bites that really should give everyone...
Read moreI’ve read the reviews, and I have to wonder if we ate at the same place. My husband and I decided to try it, and we were so disappointed in the food. We started with the meat sampler, which consisted of a blob of pulled pork, a blob of (hard) shredded brisket, and a single cut up jalapeño sausage. As we were waiting for our food, 1) my husband noticed the cook having to read the menu to make dishes, and 2) they yelled “86 the mashed potatoes”. How do you run out of mashed potatoes at 5pm? I got a small ice cream scooped shape of mashed potatoes that were cold. The green beans, which were cooked with mushrooms and bacon, were also cold and very tasteless. My husband’s food was equally tasteless. We won’t go back....
Read moreThis place is a gem! We stopped in for breakfast today and we can’t wait to go back to try the lunch/dinner menu. The pancakes were perfect, one of my daughters added chocolate chips and strawberries, the Sensational omelet was bursting with onions, peppers, bacon, cheese, etc. Breakfast potatoes were crispy and seasoned well. The show stopper was the biscuit, fluffy and warm, served with whipped butter and their house made berry jam. Wow! Service was fantastic, fresh clean atmosphere was welcoming! Love having this new addition to this W. Cortez area. No wait this morning at 9 am..while everything on the island I’m...
