My family and I were heading to NC with some hangry toddlers so we decided to stop here since my son wanted pancakes. The woman who took our order asked us to wait a moment no problem then when she came to take our order she rushed us by stating meals that we never said we wanted. My husband was finally able to get our order out to which she upsized the hash browns that came with the platter. We didn’t ask for that but cool he’s a patient guy. We make it to the window to which she’s staring at me so I stare at her. She then states that everything is in the bag like she just knew I was about to ask. My husband hands me the food and I’m trying to figure out why the container is ice cold. I mention out loud while still at the window “Why is this so cold”?!So as I open it to hand a pancake to my son it’s almost as if they’d just pulled it out the refrigerator, I mean it’s cold! Well that explains why the container was cold. My husband had already pulled up enough for the person behind us to get to the window so I went inside. I wait a moment for someone to notice me and when she does she asks “what’s wrong”? I tell her that my pancakes are ice cold to which the lady who’s preparing the orders as they come in state I told y’all. Excuse me so you knew you were handing out cold pancakes and didn’t have the courtesy to ask us for a few minutes to serve edible food. So at this point I’m getting frustrated because this is not how you treat customers. So the lady who asked what’s wrong as if I would like a refund to which I should have said yes but mind you my kids are in the truck hungry. So I informed her that I would if my kids weren’t hungry but I need the pancakes to be cooked so they can eat them. She then tried to warm the whole platter in which I state I just want the pancakes warmed. She places them in the microwave and once they’re done she says I may have warmed them up too much. Ugh just give me the darn pancakes. Then had the nerve to say well at least they aren’t cold anymore. It took everything in me to hold my composure! Thankfully my boys enjoyed the pancakes. To add insult to injury the large hash browns were not large on our platter 😒. 0/10 do...
Read moreAround 9pm I tried to order a meal... The hours posted in the door was that it closes at 10pm but they were locked. The drive-thru was open though. After me and my son knocked a few times (...u could see all the staff ignoring to answer the door...), I decided to approach the pick up window of the drive-thru... the attendant (Nicole) told me that even though I was not driving, the only way to order was to walk in the driveway like all the cars. Relunctly, I did and in between cars the speaker/interphone didn't work (for obvious reasons!) so..., I continue to walk to the first window for payment. When I approached the window, Roxane - Shift Manager, told me she would take my order but I had to step aside since the car behind me had put their order already... after ordering my meal and getting it from the next window, you could see the employees opening the front door multiple times to hand out meals to the drivers who had their orders delayed and not hold the line. Moral of the story: I'm a truck driver parked across the street (at Pilot) and all I needed was order my food to go (I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic!). No one inside was wearing a mask! You could tell they didn't want to serve me... maybe because I'm a truck driver (although I'm also a disable Veteran getting my college degree and proudly earning 90K+/year), maybe because I'm hispanic carrying a backpack (it had my shower supplies) or, maybe we were two customer too many for them to work before they close for the night... Its an absurd how you may get treated certain places! I wonder if anyone that would fall and get hurt in this process, how much you could sue their business for such disregard with another person's safety. Let's see if the owner has any decency to answer my review. Btw... when I got to my truck, they gave me the wrong size...
Read moreTheir food is ok. But I’m disgusted at their service I ordered a impossible whopper which is on their website as available on the actual Burger King app I ordered via DoorDash the dasher informed me they did not have a impossible whopper which is fine I understand that they may not have that available I requested a double whopper which is of less valued but they refused the request as the door-dasher asked on my behalf. And this Burger King is so ghetto like when you call them it’s a out of state area code and it’s a mobile phone with a recording saying Burger King of a person and their mailbox is full of course. I just don’t understand why they would not substitute a item to item of lesser value especially when they inconvenienced the customer which is I understand the item not being available is not their fault but they didn’t update it online it was a simple request which could have been handled in 2 mins and it’s more than reasonable I hope Burger King refunds the difference if not I’m not going out of my way my door-dasher was great the establishment I ordered from was not. Probably won’t order...
