Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in South Carolina

This store was closed for the better part of a year for massive remodel (which looks great) and when they reopened, so much had changed.

My biggest complaint (which is aggregate with my other comments later) is that they refused to make my fries well-done, which I’ve been getting since the early 90’s.

Here’s why this is a big problem, as I see it:

Refusing to complete a request as simple as this one, especially when all others will do it, tells the customer that they have to take-it-or-leave-it… an unheard of concept in America.

Coupled with some of their other ‘quirks’ is their up charge for extra sauce, refusal to offer ketchup without customer specifically requesting during the order and their outright stinginess with napkins.

Marry all these issues together and you have an un-American business model from a company that claims to be ultra-nationalistic.

Not open on Sunday? Fine. We’re a nation of freedom.

But REFUSING to make-to-specific-order requests from their menu is baffling.

I’ve secretly eaten their fast hate-chicken on the DL for years because their food quality is head and shoulders above anyone else in the fast food game.

This location is up the street from my house but this will be my last visit. I ran through the drive-thru on two separate days to make sure the fries issue wasn’t a one-off and it wasn’t. Standard operating...

FIVE STARS! The BEST PEOPLE and the BEST FOOD! This Chick-fil-A store story should be used in every College business class textbook as an example of exactly what to do in business when you want to do EVERYTHING RIGHT! Honestly, this is not only the best Chick-fil-A around its THE BEST BUSINESS around as everything is ALWAYS PERFECT! This store has the best food and the nicest folks working! I find it just makes my day when I say thank you and I get great food and a smile and a "My Pleasure" from each and every employee in return!

Truly this store is textbook 100% as good as business gets! The food is great too... everything on the menu, I have never had my order wrong, my food is always great! The delivery service and the Chick-fil-A app is FANTASTIC as well. I think I could truly eat at this Chick-fil-A everyday and never get tired of this great food and I truly enjoy a quick hello or chat with those fine folks who work the place!

Me along with some of my family are from Toronto Canada. And we do not have Chick FIl-A here. On our family vacation we were trying to find a place to eat and decided to try Chick Fil-A. Us Canadians as well as the family from overseas and some of the USA family have never eaten at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised, the cost was the same as any other fast food place, I found the food to be way less greasy compared to similar restaurants. The taste was amazing and the waffle fries were amazing. The sauces they offered were tasty and went with the meals. One thing we experienced that was very pleasing to us was the service we received from the staff and the Manager. When he noticed our big group and different accents he approached our table and made great conversation. He kept saying "Anything you need let me know, need more soda let me know". I think he filled my soda 3 times, unsure if its free but it was for us. We experienced that southern hospitality here and it was an amazing experience. Keep up...
