First thing to mention, is my family and I order from this dominos at a regular basis. We have recently placed an order again, same account we always use with them when ordering. Same address, same phone number, same name, same card info on file, but after 1 hour and 30 minutes of watching the window and keeping phones nearby, the online status shows up as delivered. So we called the store and they said someone attempted to deliver and asked some random person if they ordered pizza and they said no. So at this point, realizing the delivery driver Kelsean decided not to call the phone number that is on account, ALSO on the PIZZA BOXES themselves in hand to get in touch with someone to find out anything. I asked that for the wait, instead of a refund, can we just get the pizzas remade to be fresh, since we have been waiting an hour and a half. The gentleman on the phone told me three (3) times he will make sure they remake the pizza for us and send it out and apologized. Within 30 minutes of standing out in the cold windy night just to make sure we got our food, they delivered, bring food inside and go to feed the kids finally after ordering at 6:55pm and receiving at 9:30pm. The pizza is hard and cold and the stickers on the boxes shows it was made at 6:55pm, they promised us they were making fresh pizza at 8:52pm. So at this point, my two kids have to eat so I called this location AGAIN, and this time asked for a manager. The manager said she could not figure out why it was there fault, she claims they tried to contact number on file. We have ordered about 20 times from this location with the same online account, every time receiving a call if there is any questions on how to get here or letting us know they are at the address provided. This is the second time I have every left a complaint in my time. The way the delivery driver lied about contacting us and the manager just seemed all for accusing us that it was our fault, keep in mind even though we have the numbered address and correct phone number on file after 20+ orders from this location, she could not understand how it was their fault. I never asked for refund, just fresh food for the wait, I felt like after so many times that I have purchased food from here, the one time something goes wrong and I am accused of it being my fault. Do you love delivery drivers who are annoyed that you had the audacity to order a pizza? And do you love leaving detailed instructions to try to alleviate previous delivery issues, only to have them ignored and somehow receive worse service? If so, this is the Domino's for you.
In all seriousness, this is the WORST Domino's pizza I've ever had the displeasure of ordering from. After multiple orders that were completely disastrous from a pizza perspective, I can finally say I am done ordering from this place and will happily give our weekly pizza order to another pizza place.
Some of the issues we have had:
We ordered pizza on a weekday afternoon around 2pm. When we placed the order, the delivery tracker estimated the arrival time no later than 2:36. Makes sense, especially since it was a weekday afternoon. No joke, our order arrived ice cold at 4pm. And the kicker, not only could the driver NOT find our location and needed step by step directions (despite me even checking that the address was in correctly), but our order was incomplete. We went ahead and did the fancy little delivery insurance thing on Domino's restaurant, and received enough points as a result to redeem a free pizza. Yay! Who doesn't like free pizza?
Well. We just placed our order tonight to redeem that free pizza. When I placed the order, I double checked all our address information and even added VERY detailed instructions to alleviate any issues. 30 minutes after our order was scheduled to be delivered per the delivery tracker, the driver called me asking for directions. Dominos is the only delivery company that has had an issue finding our place, so this is more than just a weird address. When our driver finally arrived, he had the worst attitude possible. Our pizza was cold to the point that the cheese was already doing that weird thing where it starts to stiffen up...which is never what someone wants in a fresh pizza.
I've called the store and was treated just as rudely and abruptly because I had the audacity to ask why the pizza was in quality check for 45 minutes, and if it was possible to check on a delivery time.
Do yourself a favor, and order from literally ANY other pizza place in the Summerville area than here. I'm done giving them my money while I eat a sorry excuse...
Read morePoor customer service. They answer the phone saying OMG very loudly. I asked to speak to the manager and they give me a young girl Supposedly named Hailey. She said she was the assistant manger but she answered and very unprofessionally. I tried to explain that I spoke to someone about a month ago about my m3ssed up order and she didn't care and when I said I'm sorry are you the manger she said no. I told her she was being unprofessional and I wanted to speak to the manager and she went into detail on why she was not being unprofessional. She said this is a joke and hung the phone up. I called back and spoke to a guy that would not give me his name and I asked who the overall manager was and he said umm nicole. I said I would like to speak to her is she available. He yelled are you available and then he said she is not available right now. I also heard laughing in the background. I tried to tell him that I could hear everyone in the background and the little girl that said her name was hailey laugh and tell him to just hang up. I told him that this was not a joke. So Ben hung up He also said he's asking my name can I give him it or a different name.
All I was trying to do was talk to the manager that I spoke with a month ago that told me to call back in to have the order replaced. Like they told me to do.
I will never come back and I will definently let everyone at my Congregation know to never come to this store again as you will be treated like it is a joke to the kids the hire there.
