Manny's Deli & Subs — Restaurant in South Carolina

I do not like to leave poor reviews, but, I ordered a Chicken and Cheese sub. It had no flavor at all, and I believe I was given tuna, not chicken. If it was chicken, it tasted like fish and did not taste fresh or flavorful. No seasoning either, just chicken, plain mushrooms and mozzarella. The macaroni salad was room temp and not cold, giving it a strange flavor. The steak and cheese sub someone in our party ordered was also flavorless and had a strange consistency. On the contrary, we also ordered a cold sub. The Godfather; it was delicious, fresh, and had a huge amount of meat! I can see why the sub shop gets highly rated, and it’s because of the cold cut subs. I would get the cold cut subs again, but absolutely not the hot subs, or the potato salad which looked and tasted more like mashed potatoes. Also, the restaurant was...

Whenever I lived in Myrtle Beach this would be my daily stop for lunch and I really mean daily...

Now that I am no longer a local every family vacation we take which is once a year. The first place I stopped immediately from leaving the airport is Manny's.

I love that the same husband and wife are the two people running this place like freaking champs. The most consistent sub place I've ever been to. The absolute best sub-place I've ever been to. And I'm a sandwich person.. no one beats Manny's.

I used to have a friend who is now deceased that I would go there twice a week week. The sandwiches may not taste the same slightly because he is not there with me, but he would be clapping from heaven about how good they are.

My family and I have been coming to Pirateland Camping Resort for the past 30 years and I can't believe this year was the 1st time we have ever tried Manny's- and I am 100% sold on this being my favorite sandwich shop! We have some good mom and pops sandwich shops in Tennessee, BUT this is hands down the best one I've ever had the privilege to experience! The prices are on point and the quality is top notch 👌 👏 Being a southern girl, I've had a lot of potato salad but my goodness - this potato salad takes the cake!!
