I ordered a Chicken Sandwich, only pickles and a diet Dr. P. The woman at the drive through asked if I only wanted pickles on the Chicken sandwich, I said yes. She said they were out of Dr. P and I would have to get another drink. I said just refund my money. She said because the order was placed on the app, She could not refund my money and I would have to get another drink. I said I would like a refund. She said, nope you have to get a drink because it's already paid for. I did not. When I got home I had a bun with 3 pickles on it, NO Chicken. It took two weeks to speak with someone regarding this order and regarding my refund. Although the Woman I spoke with on the phone said she would refund my money, she never did. She did mail me some cards for two free breakfast or lunch combos.
Food was burned and it took 20 minutes in the drive through. My receipt said 9:14 They asked me to pull up and my bag was brought to me at 9:34.
At 5:35 I placed an order through the app January 21, 2022. I pulled in to curbside spot number 1. I waited for almost 30 minutes. I tried to call but the phone had clearly been taken off the hook. I walked up to the door and it was locked. I walked up to the drive through window where a woman yelled at me that they don't do curbside at this location and I have to pick it up through the drive through. It can't be hard to revise the app so that it is store specific. I've ordered breakfast at stores that the app state open at 5 when they really open at 6. This store has a curbside spot. If they do not "do curbside" then it cannot be hard to post a sign stating just that. I have never gotten hot or correct food at this location. The service is consistently horrible. I shouldn't be yelled at for using the app when they decide they no longer want to participate in curbside.
GO TO ANY MCDONALDS outside of the UPSTATE. All the ones I have been to hear is 4 counties all provide horrible food, horrible service, they will not refund money (Stolen) --WHen I pay for a drink and a sandwich and I do not get it and a Manager asks how I want the problem resolved and it is not, then this becomes either theft or fraud.
Most recently, the hateful manager said my sandwich had just been made. Ordered at 5:35, and received at 6:03. I assured here I wanted a fresh sandwich. SHE SAID it was just made and just put up in the window. I drove home less than 6 minutes away and the sandwich was cold and the bread hard.
It's a billion dollar company because they have apparently taught employees how to rip off customers at every turn. There is no sense of customer service and all the way up the management ladder, the blame is placed on the app, another store, the employee working, or a lack of staff.
GOOD business does not differentiate between McDonald's in Greenville or Chesnee. They take responsibilities for substandard service, food, mobile ordering. Being continually told that the problem is with the app and there is nothing the store can do about it is now an unacceptable excuse.

SO I HAD TO KNOCK ON THE WINDOW FOR SERVICE & HE TOLD ME THAT HE MISPLACED $1000.00 AND THAT HE COULDN'T SERVE ME UNTIL HE FOUND THE MONEY SO EVIDENTLY HE FOUND THE MONEY BUT I HAD 2 WAIT NEARLY 20 MINS FOR MY FOOD? ALL I GOT WAS A BACON EGG & CHEESE BISCUIT 2 HASHBROWNS A chicken biscuit & 2 pancakes and a piece of sausage! I was very irritated by this! I work in food service and customer service this was unacceptable. When I got my food and got home i realized that my chicken patty was just cold and rubbery as if it had been sitting all night long! I would've ordered burgers and fries but i was told they were only doing breakfast at this time so...this was my experience and by the way the customer service was not good. I only purchased the food because I waited so long& nothing else was open except waffle house. I work there so I didn't want waffle house. Read moreThis location has got to be the worst location in South Carolina. Off and on for years we have had a mix of ok and terrible service, but tonight took the cake. 3am after working late night, we pull into the drive thru. The person comes on to take the order and asks us to wait. No problem. A few minutes later they say to go ahead with the order, and we start our offer. Once we're done, ready to drive forward they come across and say it's Cash Only. Well, we don't have cash. We wouldn't have bothered to order if they told us that at the beginning, so we said it would have been nice if they said that at the beginning.
They snap back rudely "We tell everyone at the start, so what do you want us to do about it?" After we tell them a nicer attitude would be appreciated, and that we weren't told until afterward, she snipped again that they can't do anything about it. Then someone else comes on the mic to tell us we're wrong, and we told them we would be letting the management know about the poor service.
If it was just about the no cash thing, we would have been fine... But the snippy attitude, and the "I don't care" way they acted when we mentioned we would bring it up to management shows a severe lack of care for customers or the brand.
I am very disappointed with that treatment. As a food service worker, I know the standard way to react when something happens. You apologize... You don't act out and tell the customers they're wrong, when 3 people in the vehicle all know nobody...
