Pete's of Piedmont — Restaurant in South Carolina

It is 1237. I called soon as I got off work at 12:25 was headed that way to the restaurant I called to order a order of fries with no salt I was placed on hold for 10 minutes which would took me the time to get there Got the speaker. No one replied. I drove off after waiting seven minutes. I drove off remind you I’m still on hold when I got to the red light I was hung up on the mixup all this holding on I heard 2 Different Customers Pl. the order no one never came to the speaker. No one never came back to the phone so I proceed to call back to the store because I was hung up on. I asked to speak to her manager. The manager was too busy to come to the phone so I asked the lady why was I hung up on? She proceeded to tell me that she answered the phone and said hello and no one was there never did she even pick up the phone only thing she did was pick it up hung up, her response was I’m sorry way too busy right now to place your order and hung up again. I have been going to this restaurant ever since I moved to South Carolina and I have never experiences in my life at this restaurant. This is ridiculous Only thing good comes out of this restaurant is food at this point ever since they got rid of the young lady there that used to work there in the morning this has been pure hail dealing with these elderly ladies , so that will be my last stop at...

It is sad that I even have to write this because I really like the food and if it was just the food I was reviewing I would give a higher rating. I came on here and checked the reviews to see if we were the only ones this has happened to but after seeing multiple reviews about this I feel I must say something too. My friend and I frequent this place quite often on our lunch breaks and the last several times we have encountered a woman that works there that is unbelievably rude every time we have to deal with her, in person and on the phone. And this last time was the worst of all. I honestly don't understand how she can still be working there after so many people have said something about it on here in their reviews. The drive-through was very busy, so it's hard to judge the service. I can say that everyone was working. They have a more mature staff that they did in the past. The food tasted great, and there were generous servings. UPDATE..12-6-24 Under new management. The current owner has totally redone the bathrooms and added a walkway so you don't have to go outside. Like every restaurant, fast food or not, the prices have gone up a little bit. It's still a good deal. The place is clean.
