I love this place. The old cook there is an awesome cook. They hand bread their steak fingers and they hand cut and make their onion rings which are the best onion rings anywhere in the area. (I only go to the Poinsett Hwy location.) They serve chicken fried steaks on Sunday; wish they were larger. They're so good at that size I could eat two of them. You can get a veggie plate and they have cobblers for dessert. They have various specials, call and ask ahead what they have & when. Order at the counter and go grab it when they call your name or number. Nice and cool inside. Check out the choo choo train that runs around the track when you look up. I don't go there when it's real busy, so I've never had a long wait. I stick with chicken fried steak, steak fingers, onion rings and barbecue sandwich. No complaints. I think it's good food for the good price. I'm from Texas where all portions are bigger... especially on Chicken Fried Steaks; which needs to be served every day of...

I understand being busy but they hadn't even started to cook it until I showed up 20 minutes after order was placed. If you are on a 30 minute lunch break I'd advise going somewhere else if you want to make it back to the job in time. Food is ok but service is 1 star.
Update: after "cooking it fresh" the girl saw a bag sitting on the table. She had the name wrong on the bag. She had put the name "Clay" on the bag instead of Jon. Don't know how that could be confused. My food was cold after sitting there for 35 minutes. Instead of giving me the fresh one the gave me the cold one. I won't be dining her again they did nothing to make it right just shoved me out the door. A real shame this place has gone so downhill. I used to go there often in...

Every time he would call for her help, she'd reply "what?" She made it seem like he was a burden, but he was trying his best.
I told them at least 4 times what I wanted, because she had to help him with the POS. A grilled chicken club, no fries, sub side greek salad, no olives. So then tell me, how did I end up with a chicken filet sandwich and a side house salad? Nothing but mayo on the sandwich. No cheese on the salad. It took a while to get, too. My husband told me before I went, "we don't eat there." And now I know why. I didn't say anything because I was so hungry and had already been waiting a while. I just will not...
