I have been here/ordered delivery from here at least twice a month since this place opened.
Most of the time we go through the drive thru. Almost every time we've gone, it takes at least ten to fifteen minutes to get our order once we have gotten to the window to pay. If this were the only issue, I could live with that as I usually place larger than average orders due to my family size.
Now for the fun part- last time we ordered delivery (a week and a half ago), doordash was well over an hour and a half past their delivery window. When we called doordash to find out what happened, they said the restaurant kept pushing our order back.
Yesterday (11/10/19), we ordered online through the website. No big deal, right? Oh so wrong! We received an email at 3:55 pm stating our order was ready. We verified the pending charge on our debit card. We sent our 16 year old son up to the store to retrieve our order with debit card in hand just in case there was an issue with the order. When he arrived on location, they stated that they had no record of the order. They asked him to see the confirmation email. Well of course, that's at home with mom. My son gets on the phone with me and requests a screenshot of the order's email confirmation. I send that to him. During this transaction of events, my son hands his phone over to the store employee. The employee takes the phone to the back with me on speaker phone and starts dropping cuss words about how the former shift manager is an effing idiot and how he never tells them a d**n thing at shift change. The store then says that my screenshot is not good enough- they want us to come into the store to prove we placed the order that day. I tell my son to just leave as I am hungry and frustrated, and the store was obviously not going to help. I immediately called corporate Taco Bell. They were even less help than the store. They said online orders can only be examined by their mobile team, but, you guessed it, they aren't open on the weekends, so they can be no help. Now it's 6 pm (yes two hours later)- we have no food and no potential for a fix until the next day. There is still a $41 hold on my debit card for an order that, according to the mobile team-yes, I got a hold of them this morning- errored out in the system. I also received zero compensation for my time and effort to fix this...
Read moreNot sure all that’s happened here in the past 3 months, but they’ve went very downhill. There was a sweet woman in glasses that used to work the drive through, and it’s like when she left everything good about this place did too, she had actually memorized my order and made recommendations too! Now, the lobby is locked half of the time so you can’t go in to correct the orders if you got the wrong one (which I did today, so I had to park and walk by a truck in the drive through), the food is mediocre at best 80% of the time now. You don’t get as much with what you pay for, it’s not cooked right, (the chalupa’s are always burnt with old grease now and greasy versus how they used to be fluffier, which made me stop ordering them now), the burritos aren’t proportional, food is usually not that hot, and a lot of the time they forget the sauce you ask for. I live SO close, so I keep giving chances, but waiting in the lobby last Friday for 23 minutes for an order was excessive. I could have made a frozen pizza while I sat on my couch in that time. Their card reader was down so they would only take cash in the drive through, so I had to go in to place my order at the kiosk. Another time i went employees were walking out of the lobby smoking off a vape instead of helping in the extremely busy drive through on a weekend night. It’s frustrating most of the time I go now due to the long wait times, but I’m always friendly because I don’t know what struggle that store is going through. Hopefully things get better and the food improves with it, because I miss the Taco Bell of 3 months or so ago, and I’ve been taking up other fast food establishments more often given these negative experiences. Taco Bell has always been my go to, and I hate that I’m this disappointed that i took the time to take down my 5 star review of 3 months ago to put this up. Please...
Read moreI placed an order at the drive through and was told to pull around to parking space number 6 and my order would be brought out. Once I received my order and went home only to discover it was the wrong order. I called them and informed them about it, and was told to come back for corrections. Once I got there, the manager, think his names was Kevin said he had the order and would bring it right out. I again went home to find the order not completely correct and this order had been setting around for some time, this ordeal has now been about an hour. I again called them and informed them of this, i.e. the crispy taco were now cold and no longer crispy along with being stale. I also informed them that this would be my 3rd time returning to their place and they need to make it right. Once I got there and my order was brought out to me I asked where my refund was as agreed to over the phone, the delivery person said she didn't know anything about that and went to get the manager, Kevin. Once Kevin can out to my vehicle I asked him about it and he informed me that he would only give me my order, not what we agreed to over the phone earlier. I informed him, after some heated exchanges that it isn't right that a customer has to make 3 trips to straighten out a mess created by him and his staff. I finally informed him to take this order and refund my money, which he did. I also informed him that he would never see me as a customer again! This place has no regard for customers, plus I believe Kevin is in a position where he is not qualified to be in. I gave 1 star only because I couldn't give a...
