The Coffee House — Restaurant in South Carolina

Can confirm, this place has great prices AND offers a Military discount. The coffee is very flavorful and well worth the 10 minute drive from base. Breakfast sandwiches are huge and tasty. Great value all around! My only recommendation to the owners, replace the 4 big round dinner tables with 6-8 small square tables to maximize your space and give more of a cafe vibe. Large groups can simply combine tables as needed. I enjoyed the cafe jazz and some casual conversation, great atmosphere! Probably time to pack up the Christmas tree ladies, you can break it out again after thanksgiving ;) The space is just a bit cluttered. Might be good to consolidate all the brochures and literature on the rectangular table against the wall and relocate the cream and sugar to the corner of the counter. I have driven by this place several times and decided to give it a try. I was really wanting to like this place but walked out feeling very underwhelmed. First I'll start with the positives. It's a very nice and appealing place with a really calm and chill coffee house atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming and nice.But to call yourself The Coffee House one would expect way more coffee options on the menu which they barely have any. Seems like they have more food options than coffee. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk and I am trying to be nice here and will just say it was okay. I've made better vanilla lattes with my Nespresso machine at home myself. I did not order any food so I cannot review that but I don't see myself going back to even try that but who knows maybe I'll give them a second chance...

This was one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was having my car serviced at the VW dealership close by and walked to have breakfast. The food was simple but fantastic; my bacon, egg and cheese croissant was excellent, coffee was hot and perfectly curated and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I also took a pecan pinwheel and cinnamon roll to go. This is a small, no frills coffee house with so much heart. I had the pleasure of visiting with Ms. Q and her friends for an hour and I must say, I left feeling uplifted and proud to have been her patron. This is not a fast food joint!
