We checked out Tito's a couple weeks ago. We were greeted by a friendly young lady and told her we were dining in. We ordered the Loaded Fries and a 16" pepperoni, bacon and mushroom (our go to). The fries were very unique. I'm not sure if they were hand cut, they were shaped like steak fries but cut thin. So when fried they curled up into these little fry boats and were just delicious. Then the pizza came out and this thing was a solid 10. You name it toppings, sauce, cheese were all high quality and delicious. The dough is on point, it's just the right amount of crispy with the perfect amount of chew. If you know you know. While the food was incredible the service that this young lady provided was equally impressive. She kept up with everything and has a wonderful personality. So today we came back for round two. This time we tried the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and a 16" meat lovers. The garlic bread was I'm pretty sure a sub roll. It was good but the fries are better. I saw an order of garlic knots go out and they looked incredible (next time). The pizza was just as incredible as before. Luckily we got the same server and she remembered us!! She once again took amazing care of us. Her name is Vanera and she is a delight. I've always said that bad service can kill great food and great service can save mediocre food. Tito's is firing on all cylinders with incredible food coming out of the kitchen and Vanera taking exceptional care of her customers. Give it a try, you won't regret it!!

For a satisfying New York style pie experience please try the Tito's special pizza and antipasto salad! FOOD: AMAZING!!! From the (large enough for 2) fresh antipasto salad with crisp shredded lettuce ham cheese rolls and the most delectable green olives perfectly dressed with the house italian to Tito's special pizza (GO ahead get the Large and feed 4 adults or take some home for another meal or midnight snack). The dough was JUST RIGHT tasted like it was cooked in a brick oven and topped with the PERFECT combination of veggies and meat. The tea was spot on Southern style. Bright but not bitter and sweet perfection (not too sweet). The mini cannoli was crisp on the outside and decadent on the inside...WHAT A TREAT (THANK YOU, Taylor) SERVICE: Everyone worked together like a team. Taylor was exceptional. Knowledgeable (she gave suggestions/recommendations and made sure we were taken care of), thoughtful, attentive, and kind.) LOCATION: minutes from Cherrydale area this is true midtown. Minutes from downtown and the Eastside via Pelham/E North/Pleasantburg PRICES: The pricing was on par with Greenville pizza places. ~$20 for the pie and ~$7 for the salad. We will surely go back to try the stromboli and pasta!

If your planning on visiting Tito's in the winter, don't dress to impress, just dress warm! On one of the coldest nights of the year we walked through the outer propped open doors, only to realize the inside temperature was not much better. I quickly understood why the standard wait staff uniform appeared to be long coats. Since our last visit to Tito's, there has apparently been a shift in ownership, which still remains within the family. The one thing you will NOT find at Tito's is "Titos Vodka", so don't bother asking Tito's for hard liquor, wine and beer only and regardless of what your drink selection, I'm sure it will come out cold. The pizza hasn't changed, it is still as good as I remember, however this time it had a very short shelf life on the table before getting cold. Since I just don't eat cold pizza, not even the day after, we decided to cut our dining visit short Eating at Tito's felt much like eating at a standard chain restaurant, beyond the cold, the ambience just isn't there as it seems to be lacking individuality and a warming ambience. I would look forward to return for the wonderful pizza, but that is it. Cheers!

We are new to the neighborhood and were trying out local restaurants. This was our second visit and just before the dinner rush. They were short staffed but had a sign looking for another server. We enjoyed our server and was the reason we came back. It was date night for us and we were looking forward to an authentic Sicilian pizza . Our server however presented the evening special of a penne pasta dish with a red bacon sauce and salad. She mentioned there had been no complaints so far and we accepted to offer. The salad, hardly worth mentioning arrived on a sm dessert plate. The main dish arrived hot and overly spicy, barely edible but in large quantity. Kraft style Parmesan cheese from a can was on the table. The chef approached our table and ignored my comments of too spicy as though I wasn't there, smiling the whole time and concentrated on my husband instead, quite proud of his penne pasta dish creation. We stomached what we could and called it a night. Then time to cover the check. $41 for 2 pasta dishes , a lemonade and a Pepsi. OUTRAGEOUS! $16.99 each for a pasta dish not worth $8.99. When questioned "Oh its not me. Its him back there that made this decision. He is making changes to revamp the restaurant." Incredibly unprofessional and was apparently not the first complaint for this evening's special. The staff did not seem to like being there and were overly cold. The feeling was contagious as even the customers we spoke with said things were off. This was an overall unsatisfying overpriced visit and we would strongly encourage a new route to the current "revamping". We may try again another night and simply avoid the "Special of the evening" giving the benefit of the doubt this was just...

As a longtime patron of Tito's--over twenty years--I write this review with a feeling of sadness. First, the food is still very good. Our special pizza was delicious last night as was the eggplant parm. Sadly, there were too many other problems to ignore. I realize restaurants in general are having a horrible time, and I SO want to support our local businesses. The problems I am describing now would be very easy to fix.

First, some of the staff were NOT wearing masks and those who were wearing them, were not doing so correctly. Not covering your nose while wearing a mask is like washing one hand. Also, many of the other customers waiting for their food, weren't wearing masks either even though a sign is posted on the front door asking all to wear masks. And overall, the restaurant did not appear as clean as it should have.

Second, we called in our order and were told that it would be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived on time, but had to wait another twenty minutes because they had forgotten to prepare the eggplant dish. Then when everything was ready, we were asked to wait a bit longer while the counter person took another order. After having waited twice as long as we should have, we should have been given priority as to having our bill finalized.

Even worse, not only were we not offered anything as compensation for getting our order wrong and having to wait twice as long as we were promised, NO ONE even apologized. Good will works both ways.

Because of these problems, we are very reluctant to order from Tito's again. We did not feel valued and though we have good memories of our years enjoying Tito's food, those memories make what happened last...
