Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

Love Waffle House...but won't return to this location. Waitress never smiled or really even spoke, even when I told her I still didn't have my milk halfway through the meal. And the meal. Can't really comment on the food because we got it in bits and pieces. There we're three of us, we waited 20 minutes before anything arrived. A waffle came out first, we told him to start without us. He was halfway through when my potatoes came (hadn't wanted cheese on them, but was so hungry I didn't say anything). Five minutes later sausage that was ordered with the waffle arrived. Shortly after part of another order arrived so my cousin finally had something to eat. After another five minutes I called the waitress over and reminded her I never got my sausage gravy and biscuit. She finally brought it (didn't utter a word, much less apologize) after everyone else was finished. Cousin never got a coffee refill. We were watching other tables, issues were definitely associated with our waitress, everyone that came in after us were served by other waitress, some even left before we even got all our food. Thankfully Waffle Houses are plentiful. Nobody should waste their time...

Our waitress was the best on 10/22/2022! Our party of 5, sat in middle table on highway side of restaurant. I didn't catch her name. She asked the appropriate questions at appropriate times. Food was hot and taste great! The noise level was a little loud, but more because of seating set up in all Waffle House's. Not sure if same in all Waffle House's, but this one had less seating then other one's I've been at. The row along front windows were gone, and instead a hiring station was set up. But there was a couple empty tables on our arrival around 8:00 that morning. The staff okayed us pulling a chair over from another table to the booth we sat at, so we could all sit together! Plenty of parking, including handicap spots( which were located in separate area, so no worries of non handicapped cars parking over the blue lines) Woman's restroom had just been mopped, with appropriate signs to warn of wet floors. Worst service of my life. Waited 10 mins before even being talked to. Ordered eggs over easy, was given scrambled eggs. Ordered ham on hash browns and was not given ham. Waffle was underdone and barely had any chocolate chips on them. They forgot the chicken for my sisters chicken and eggs. Left it sitting on the counter for 10 mins and then couldn’t get anybody’s attention to ask for it. Forgot cheese on the hash browns of hers. Then tried to charge me for the ham and charged me for my waffle even though it came with my meal. Waters had stuff floating in the glasses. Will not be returning to this location especially when the waitress got frustrated when we asked why we were being overcharged....
