My God. I have seen lines at the DMV move faster than this place. I went there four days ago, and granted they were busy, however they made no attempt at solving that problem. It literally felt like I was watching things happen in slow motion. First I notice that they seem very understaffed for 12:15pm, but that was quickly rectified by the employee that came from outside and went back to the assembly line, without washing his hands or putting on gloves I might add. I was very hungry however, so I decided to just suck it up because I'm pretty sure he doesn't have anything on his hands that I don't already have crawling through my blood. But where was the manager?? Oh! Here he is! He finally decides to join the crowd of sloths 8-10 minutes into this recreation of Good Burger. He came from outside doing God knows what that could have been more important than the, and this is by no means an exaggeration, 17 people waiting in line. But that's ok, because now there's hope! Hope was quickly demolished by what had to be the worst example of managing a restaurant I've experienced. His minions were roaming around aimlessly holding things in their hands with no apparent intention of putting them down while he explained to his protege that the empty bin of nuggets meant they need to make more. This was topped only by the blank, distant stare of said employee as he looked at what I believe was the cups for chili across the counter that was rudely interrupted by his manager who had to tell him that the orders on his idiot proof screen meant he needed to assemble some damn wraps! After that mind numbing presentation, I decided maybe my stomach eating itself wasn't such a bad option. Before I could leave, I decided to observe as much as I could for memory sake. After over 20 minutes, only one customer had left the counter with food. The counter had food on trays and in bags scattered about, but apparently they were not full orders. I also noticed an order hadn't been taken in a long time. Apparently, another co-worker that I hope is the rising star of the bunch noticed the same thing. They asked the cashier why she was no longer taking orders, and her reply was that she can't take any more orders until the 2, maybe 3 orders pending are completed. I'm not sure if this is a corporate rule or what, but the poor hungry bus driver that just wanted a premade salad could have been out of there a long time ago. Instead, she waited on the small handful of customers whose orders had not been completed. I visited Wendy's again this evening seeing as they were not very busy and I really wanted that baconator I had been craving since the last visit. I walked in and there was nobody in there. Looking hopeful! I'm happy to report that I finally got my food, but I was fortunate enough to once again observe what has to be the slowest moving collection of humans I have ever witnessed. Serious...
Read moreI do not know what in the world is going on at this Wendys.... but they suck. The guy with dreds in the back is really nice, has been for years... but today i went in w/my son & we stood there at the counter for 12-15 mins before anybody walked up to us, phone ringing off the hook (on the counter infront of me), thats after all 3 employees looked at us & said nothing. A man in a red dress shirt walked out from the bathroom drying his hands in public & rudly said dine in or take out.. when i spoke, he put his finger up & said hold on- to answer the phone.. waited 5 more mins while he talked to someone abt their interview. He finally asked me for my order & told me extra bacon was $1 a strip.. WHAAT? Never have i been charged a $1 a strip here, he said yeah its always been.. thats as much as the whole burger..( bc i wanted 5 extra pieces)...nevermind then thats crazy i said. He still got my order wrong & didnt offer my reciept. I had to get it from behind the register myself & glad i did bc what he said the total was wasnt what was on the reciept.. There was nobody there, they werent even busy. I just feel like the service was bad. I work at a restaurant so i can understand some things, but was ridiculous.. I even had my uniform on & got treated like that.. $18 for 2 burgers & 2 fries... no drinks... im done.. never going bk to that one. Needs new management forreal. Very...
Read moreI usually don't bother with reviews. I was skeptical because the manager was cordial and the cashier was respectful and kind. Whoever the grill person was, was a poor reflection on the manager and rest of staff. Never get offended when you serve a customer warm or cold food. Fast food is expensive. I returned a biggie bag, and ordered the big baconator sandwich $8 + sm. fry, $12 total. Because the 1st sandwich was cold along with the rest of the food, and had bacon (which I asked not to have.) To be spiteful, they put the sandwich into the microwave, scraped off the bacon, but left a piece. The microwave caused it to have to much heat. I started to go back, but decided to be the bigger person. It's sad the lack of respect shown to patrons. Treat your manager better, and respect the job the public is trusting you to do. I wasn't nasty or disrespectful. I just wanted what I ordered bcuz I was hungry, and that should be my right. That was a very petty, nasty, and childish thing to do. Hopefully, the next time you're hungry someone will return the favor and you'll see what...
