Ahhh…. Where to start? The food is consistent whenever you order. It’s overall what you’d expect from a restaurant connected to a gas station. The food is trucked in premade for the most part. Basically heat and serve. However their sandwiches and subs I have had overwhelming good experiences with. The number 9 and number 13 in particular are my favorites— in that order.
The fries are unseasoned and the burgers are very generic. There definitely isn’t anything to write home about as far as their grill selection is concerned. They serve coke products and their sweet tea is offered up in pitchers like you’d make it at home in (although it is really good tea).
The service leaves a bit to be desired as a cold sandwich and order of fries takes 15 mins (on average) to be served up. Expect longer for a burger. The staff is friendly enough, however seeing a lady cough in her hands while taking the trash out, then never washing her hands was a bit disconcerting. To her credit I didn’t see her handling food, but I also know she didn’t visit the sink which was based at the front counter.
The interior of the restaurant portion of the restaurant is partitioned from the gas station by a few short walls and is very outdated. The walls are sticky to the touch and the tv, while new, is plugged in haphazardly where the cable dangles right beside a table. The cord of the tv is connected to a power strip that nearly touches your shoulder as it hangs. Most of the metal tab was exposed presenting a fire hazard.
I have dined in as well as ordered take out and each experience presented the same results. I was told 15min over the phone for two sandwiches and two orders of fries. After I got there I still waited 5-8 min...

I ordered the fries, paid for them and gave her a good tip, I said I'll be right back after I put 60 dollars of diesel in, well the gas pump leeks and when I entered the restaurant I asked to use the restroom to wash my hands, a minute or two later I went to get my fries, she said she had to drop them, I said what, I gave you plenty of time to cook my food, there was 1 other customer, she said she was cleaning, what's more important getting the food out on time or cleaning, I got short with her. I don't think...
Read moreI usually stop be Zeke's in the morning, on my way to work. The convenience store section is good and their gas is cheap! The grill and sub section? the food is cooked well and I've yet to have a messed up order. I usually get a bacon, egg and cheese on toast, with jalapeños and spicy mustard. They always give me a decent amount of bacon, over a perfectly fried egg and lots of melted cheese, so no complaints from me. One of my coworkers got A fried bologna sandwich from there, and the cut of bologna...
