Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in South Cleveland

Utilized the Popeyes app for delivery today, ordered a 5 piece blackened tender meal and a 3 piece original tender meal. Arrived in good timing, with drinks and correct sides. Unfortunately, in the two boxes were 4 biscuits and a large fry. I immediately notify the app that the order was incorrect which responded with some decent supplemental offers like half refunds and points to a new purchase, nevertheless we wanted our food. So my husband and I drove up, he wasn’t feeling well, so I went in to notify of the situation and ask for the chicken I was missing. The lady at the register, after some clarifications, seemed to understand and went to make “fresh and more”. A different woman delivered my fresh tenders but stated there was only 5 blackened. I mentioned that the order also included 3 original tenders that we still haven’t received. Emotions running high on my part, and wanting to avoid confrontation, I accepted the five and left, my husband still not having his part of the meal. He goes inside, demanding his 3 tenders and was immediately told to leave or they’d call the cops. Needless to say, we will not be returning, unfortunate to know considering its food I’ve had since I can remember and was so glad they got a location so close to us. The customer service is non existent and the food is less than consistent at this location, not to mention the efforts of reaching corporate for feedback is too wild of a chase. Do better, Popeyes. Piss poor service. Lazy employees. No chicken during lunch. Showed up Saturday around 12:30pm wanting to order some lunch via the drive thru. Waited in the drive thru lane for almost 15 minutes after being asked to please wait. There was only 1 car in the adjacent line next to me. After waiting patiently someone came over the intercom and asked what I wanted. I asked for an 8 piece tender meal with a large side and biscuits. I was told there were no tenders and the wait time would be approximately 9 -12 minutes for a new batch to be made. I said no thank you I’ll just have an 8 piece spicy instead. At that point I was told there was no spicy and the wait time would be approximately 15 - 25 minutes. Again I said no thank you and asked for an 8 piece original. Again the same response. A wait time of 15 - 25 minutes. At this point I was irritated and asked if they had any chicken available. The person stated all chicken, including sandwiches, was unavailable and needed to be made. I followed up with what was the reason to even ask what I wanted knowing they had nothing available. I may be reaching here but I would expect an establishment selling only chicken would have chicken available, especially during high demand times such as lunch and dinner. This place is a joke. I had the best customer service ever at this Popeyes location. Every other Popeyes I have ever been to made me feel like an inconvenience. Ive experienced this so much, I started to think maybe this is part of popeyes marketing 🤷‍♀️. Eric however felt like a unicorn. I went through drive through tired and ready to go home, and dinner needed to be served. I was anxious to pull up at the speaker because who wants bad service after a long day of working and an hour commute home. Eric greeted me right away after someone attempted to put me on hold, he took my order with such patients and answered all my questions, helped me things i didnt even know I needed help with. When I got to the window to pay his physical demeanor and presence was a positive aura that leaves you feeling like you got kissed on the forehead and tucked in. I hope he works his way up the corporate ladder, gets all the promotions, a cold pillow every night when he goes to sleep, and all his enemies gets a stubbed toe 😌 i hope someone recognizes his work ethics and steals him away from Popeyes because he deserves to work at a company that values him as an individual and not just another employee.
