Rise & Shine Cafe — Restaurant in South Coventry Township

Place is new & beautiful. Customer service is good. People are pleasant, if not particularly nice.

Food was overall, pretty ok; feedback is below:

Coffee: hot, black, good Water: with ice and without taste (some places refuse to change their filters, this was not one of them thankfully) I had four eggs over medium, turkey bacon (4 slices), and hash browns. Eggs were cooked, perfectly. Turkey bacon was good. Hash browns were shredded; so you had some over done and I did not care for them. They'd be better off slicing potatoes and frying them with onions wife had the banana pancakes, turkey sausage patties (2), eggs and cheese. She loved the pancakes. The turkey sausage was good. She didn't appreciate the eggs: they were fried and not scrambled as requested and just had cheese melted on top vs. integrated into the eggs.

Our bill with 20% tip was $42. Not a bad price for breakfast, nowadays.

The restaurant is located in the rural South Coventry. I could be wrong but I felt like they catered to whom they believed the locals to be and not so much to whom they didn't think the locals were.

In the end, not a bad place, but I have no real intention on returning even though it's four minutes...

Parking is tight. Building is bright with high ceilings and hard wood floors making the dining room LOUD! Service, friendly. Food, basic, with LOTS of choices. Had a lukewarm omelet that was boring, mushy home fries that had a seasoning I wasn't familiar with. A flat pancake that tasted like the box...the butter cold and never melted. 😩 Overall, a new "diner" with a fresh looking space. Nice to have another option in the area as there are not many to chose from. I will go back, the crepes looked...

Prices are high for the small portions. Was charged À la cart for my meal and charged two kids meals even though, I ordered one they told me eggs sausage toast pancake home fries was included in a kids meal. (they clearly seen that there was only one kid with me?) drinks are priced high as well. Orange juice is 5.99 (no refillls), soda a $3. **Also they charge more if you pay with card instead of cash which is fine if they tell...
