Super awesome to see more Asian food in South El Monte. South El Monte is blooming and growing center for Asian and AAPI businesses since the community has affordable real estate, accessibility, and world class high school education that can promote students going to Stanford, Harvard, MIT Engineering programs. Since Asian parents love seeing their children reach Ivy League levels and programs, there have been so many businesses starting up from boba stores to dim sum and I hope in the future, Korean Fried Chicken and more. I enjoy having a spot in the community that I can go to and enjoy dim sum options as Hong Kong (HK) style egg tarts and more. There is also a new Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in the community that took over some old failing businesses in the region. If you are looking for a place to order and take some dim sum home with you well this is it. Parking is a bit small but manageable. The dim sum is not sitting there waiting on steam tables getting soggy. They are steamed fresher for your order so you may need to wait a few minutes. We ordered the typical stuff. The ribs were ok as was the steamed pork bun. The dumplings were great. Good texture and lots of flavor. The fried shrimp was great.
