Taco Nazo — Restaurant in South El Monte

This place is really good. The fish and shrimp tacos are delicious but honestly everything here is amazing. The service is great when you dine inside unlike the drive thru its a different story. I came with my mom last Saturday through the drive thru, I order 2 medium cocktails and the girl kept saying just one cocktail when I had repeated myself so many times that I was ordering 2 of them.. Plus she didn't answer me anymore and I stayed on the speaker for about 2 mins without her telling me she got my order or at least to drive up to the window. She was dead quiet and once we got to the window she was like "is the order for Adrian?" And I told her no I had ordered 2 medium cocktails and she looked clueless, she was young and was wearing a blue button shirt with a bun hair do she looked like she was probably a new assistant manager or something and she kind of had an attitude she didn't even apologize she just closed the window once she charged us and left her position in the drive thru but I didn't make it a big deal. A young girl with red hair was nice enough to give us our order and told us to have a nice day. Its taken me a while to do a post because i wanted to give it the time it Deserves. This Taco Nazo is simply the best my husband Cesar and i have ever been to. In fact my husband refuses to go to any other location. The food is AMAZING and always prepared with Love. Beautifully presented and hot but that alone does not keep us coming back. The special ingredient to this Taco Nazo is Betty. When you walk in you are greeted like one of the family. We come here so much that we don't give our name because the girls know us but i watch Betty greet new and repeat customers with the same enthusiasm. She truly loves the customers and we can say we Love her aswell. All the ladies who work there are absolutely so sweet and Erika is always smiling and ready to take our order. Everyone is eager to say hello and make you feel welcome. Betty and the staff are truly a one of a kind and that is the secret to the success of this location. The food is amazing and together with the ladies, well lets just say we are here sometimes here 4 days of the week. I can definitely say without a doubt if you come in "Hangry" you will leave with a full belly and a happy heart and with some extended family....

I love Taco Nazo! I love to go to the one on Garvey in South El Monte because the food is bomb and the manager is always so nice, friendly and sweet! Betty is the manager and she is an outstanding example of what a good manager is. She is a hardworking woman who keeps the restaurant clean everything running smooth. If you visit the Taco Nazo on Garvey in South El Monte you will see Betty working right along side her kitchen and counter staff, taking orders, greeting every customer who walks in, helping prepare orders and cleaning table and dropping trash.

She will also take time to stop by your table and say a friendly hello, calling many people by their first names. She makes sure the food is hot and fresh and takes pride in her work. I see Betty working along with all the employees and it seems like she treats them respectfully and rolls up her sleeves to work just as hard as they do. She also plays awesome music and makes Taco Nazo a place that you want to return to again and again!
