My Hanh Restaurant — Restaurant in South El Monte

I went in Monday to place a to go order egg noodles separate soup. First impression of the noodle looked pink and it smell like vinegar ..I took a first bite and it was sour ..I've never had experience with any other Vietnamese restaurant ordering this particular items but this restaurant made it different ..went back in and said this is the correct item I ordered . The lady said ok, I'll change it for you . Then she asked if I ate it already ? I said I took a bite that's I know it taste awful ..she then said I can't change it for you because you ate it . I paid $14 for this meal..I left mad never will I return bad service ..I'm not sure if they were going to resell it if...

My god! What happened to this place?! It used to be my go-to spot for pho and now it's gone downhill so badly. I walked in here with my mom for lunch and there wasn't a customer in sight. We were seated at a booth and ordered our usual seafood pho and egg rolls but nothing tasted the same anymore. The pho was so watered down and they started skimping on the amount of meat and ingredients they used to add inside. The crispy fried egg rolls are now stale and tasted old. We didn't even bother finishing it after taking a couple bites. Overall, everything tasted off and I don't think I'll be coming back, especially since there's so many other pho...

When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem....
