We went last year before we had basketball tournaments to kill some time and really enjoyed the food and service so on the way to the football game we decided we would go eat after the game. We showed up and went thru the door by the bathrooms and stood at the hostess stand between 5-10 min with numerous employees and other guest looking at us and no one letting us know what to do until I finally went around to the other side of the bar where about 4 employees were standing and talking and asked if we seated ourself or what to do. They said to just seat ourself which is strange when they have a hostess stand where rolled up silverware is. So we day down at a table in a corner and the place was pretty empty for us to have to watch some employees clean off a table or two before ever coming to talk to us. The guy come up and asked if we wanted drinks and I asked for menus which he said they only have a select bar items they sell to eat but didn’t know what they were so I said y’all don’t have a full menu and he said no so we got up and left. We talked to some others that live there and they said they don’t go there anymore bc the food and service has gotten bad over the years. We was really expecting to have a good experience again but looks like it’s goin to be another failed...
Read moreThis place has a lot of potential. The service was decent after we finally got waited on. Seat yourself and the tables were dirty. The wait staff walked right past us numerous times without acknowledging us. We could see them arguing about who was supposed to cover our table. We ordered appetizers and they came out at the same time our food did. The cheese sticks and potatoe skins were pretty good. I would not recommend the redneck charcuterie. The sausage was just precooked sausage (like hillshire farm) that was uncooked and served cold (like straight out the refrigerator cold), the cheese was precut cubed cheese out of a bag. The BBQ bologna and pinto cheese were pretty good. The burgers were mediocre decent burgers. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger, and it barely had any BBQ sauce on it and 2 of the smallest onion rings I have even seen. They were also out of several items ex. Mellow Yellow, fried pickles. They had someone singing while we there and he was pretty good but the music was entirely to loud for lunch...
Read moreMy wife and I just moved to South Fulton, and wanted to try this restaurant as it was right down the road from us. We came on Tuesday and sat at the bar for the $1 margaritas and smash burgers. We were impressed for $1 drinks, they were pretty good. (definitely better than Applebees or any chain restaurant’s value drinks!) The double smash burgers were also really good, as well as the sides (onion rings and fried okra)
We only have one small gripe about the service, and that was the bartender kept pushing us to order appetizers or food after each drink we ordered. (Figured it was something that management told her to do). We did fully intend on ordering food, but wanted to enjoy our drinks first. It was a little annoying that we kept getting asked about ordering food before we were ready for it. Once we finally ordered food, she was much more attentive to us. She was a very good bartender...
