Stephonoe's Pizza Village — Restaurant in South Fulton

Gave them a 2nd chance after a previous experience that wasn't great. Let's start with the positives first... The staff were friendly to take my order on the phone and in person upon pickup. The place looks nice inside and clean and well kept.

Now for the not so good. The King cheese sticks seemed to be very thin and not much cheese compared to a small order I had previously. I had requested and offered to pay for extra marinara sauce, but didn't receive it. Not sure if I was charged for them as I didn't ask for a receipt. I probably should have checked at the restaurant, didn't want to hold up the line or be rude by opening the box up in the store.

However, I learned wasn't missing out by not getting the extra marinara. The marinara this time was extremely thin and bland, as if it was watered down. Nothing like what they had previously given me in my last order. The cinnamon rolls were alright, not bad, but not as good as from most other pizza places in my opinion.

Prices are quite reasonable, here as well as pretty good service. I just hoped for better quality food. I am not trying to talk trash about the restaurant, just wanting to give an honest review to let them know where they could improve. I hate to say it, but I think the big chain pizza joint across town is better unfortunately. I really wanted to like Stephanoes, as I try my best to support smaller locally...

We had three different pizzas, cheese sticks, garlic knots, chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon rolls. We placed the order Friday for a Sunday pickup. We had to wait 20 minutes past pickup time for everything to be finished because they were so busy. (A good problem to have for a small business and a testament to the quality of the food.) The cheese sticks, thin crust and traditional crust pizzas were very good. The chocolate chip cookie was a great combination of soft and gooey center with a slightly crispy edge and was served with ice cream. The garlic knots and cinnamon rolls were okay...not sure if we'd order those again when the other items were so good. The staff was amazing...they were handling dine-in customers and pickups with a polite manner that didn't feel rushed or frantic. The young man managing was keeping the staff focused and getting tickets finished as soon as possible. The prices are very reasonable and made it a good choice for...

Finally, were able to go tonight to try the Pizzas, and support some Dear Friends as well. First of all, the wings and the pizzas were off the hook. totally amazing. Quality, taste, amount of toppings were awesome, and cooked perfectly. Service was top notch and the nice clean, and neat atmosphere, left nothing to improve. Great owner, great staff,.and totally amazing food! Its a bit of a haul from Murray, but i see us burning up the road frequently in the future. Hey Buffy, thanks for.a.wonderful dining...
