La Casa de las Parrilladas Colombian Restaurant — Restaurant in South Gate

So disappointed! Just recently discovered this place and was pleasantly pleased the first time I went, so I returned a week ago. Ordered my breakfast and some Colombian bread to go with my coffee. Waitress apologized and said that the lady that makes their breads had not returned for a while now. Not good.

The little piece of carne asada that went with my eggs was ROTTEN. It didn't look great but I tasted it anyway and I was right. I ordered fresh platanos maduros and they were the microwave kind. Yuck.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Hope they can pull it together. The calentado was flavorful. The eggs weren't good as they added green n red bell peppers to a dish that ONLY requires tomato and green onion. Smh.

I LOVE the authentic taste of Colombian and Puerto Rican food! Hands down my favorite Latin restaurant!! My favorite Order is un jugo de maracuya, empanadas y patacones para comensar (with their amazing salsa/ aji!) for the main dish I switch it up between la bandeja paisa or arroz con gandules y piernil! Their portions are big and filling and their prices whoa, so affordable! You get the full homemade food experience for you and your family, it’s the best! First time here we wanted to give benefit of the thought due bad reviews. Inside of restaurant super hot no air conditioner so we decided to seat outside. Let me begin very limited menu we want it try Colombian food. We'll first we order some enpanadas and patacones. Enpanadas no fresh. Some of the enpanadas where cold inside so ther not fresh at all. So we did wanted anymore. Also what kind Colombian restaurant do not have buenos. The only thing was fresh and good was the patacones. I do not recommend this...
