It’s a dive bar that is never empty with locals. Think of union workers and middle-aged Latino men and women stopping by after work for a shot-and-a-beer and couple of rounds of pool all the while a Dodger game is on the tv and the jukebox is either playing classic rock or classic Mexican corridos. It’s not the type of bar you come to and order an Old-Fashioned or a Whiskey Sour either. Order that and the bartender will most likely give a polite look like “wtf did you just order?”. It’s the quick margarita and a Jack-and-Coke type of bar. CASH ONLY! They do happen to have an ATM inside which is very considerate of them.
