Winchell's Donut House — Restaurant in South Gate

It's somewhat costly to purchase lunch here, but, generally the food is sizable for one person and enough to keep you full for a few hours. I've purchased myself the meal deal: Bagel sandwich with black forest ham, side of chips and a medium sized iced coffee. Since I didn't want to pay extra with a water bottle, due to the fact I don't drink soda and they don't serve iced unsweented green tea. However, I convinced myself to buy vanilla iced coffee, to my surprise it was good. Usually, I don't dine in food delis like these, but today I decided to try something new and have no regrets at all. On the plus side, the server was friendly and service was well. Besides, it's at a close proximity to three major bus stops, conveniently located for a transit commuter. Horrible customer service. I ordered a green juice & the cashier said we don’t have any right now & we are not going to cut veggies anymore, so I ordered an Orange juice se said we don’t any either. I told her, let me guess cutting oranges in half is not your job or to hard?? The other representative said there is one still left over. I can’t believe this type of customer service!! I will never return to this location again. Wow i haven't been in years. But This new menu ohh My WoW . Let me please tell you, at first was thinking how good can it be. I had the torta de pierna. And boom it was amazing 👏 so good i ate the whole thing and wanted another one. It was really delicious 😋. And washed it down with fresh Squeezed Orange juice 😋.
