Family Pizza South Hadley — Restaurant in South Hadley

We've been ordering here from years but won't be doing so anymore. My wife ordered a party sized pizza and two sodas. After an hour wait she called to check in for an ETA. Hour waits on football Sunday are to be expected and we had no issue with that, but when she called the person that answered the phone told her that the pizza had already been delivered to "two guys" at our apartment complex. She was the only one home and you have to hit a buzzer on the door to even be let in the building. Our door buzzer never went off, we never received a call. When we called back to turn it into a pickup order so we could make sure we actually got our pizza this time the woman on the phone got needlessly confrontational with my wife, accusing her of lying and demanding to know who was over and why only she was home to order a party size pizza for herself.

Not only is it no business of whoever at this restaurant who is over our house, the driver himself said he gave it to two random people at our complex without verifying with them what apartment the pizza was for, without ever being buzzed in to our building, and without ever calling to make sure the people they were giving our paid for pizza to were the people that were supposed to be receiving it.

I've been in the customer service industry for 15 years and this is appalling to see people...

Been going here a few times a a month for a couple years. Placed an order over the phone at 8:22 on August 9th. Was told it would take 20 minutes. Got there at exactly 8:40 to find the lights off, and the door locked. I went and got food elsewhere, and later noticed a missed call from Family Pizza at 8:57. I called and spoke to a manager on August 16th, as I wanted to order a pizza and talk about the issue I had. The male manager said he wasn't working that night, but took down my name and number to find out what happened. They never called back. A week went by, and once again I wanted to get pizza, so I called and spoke to the owners wife on August 23rd. She was very quick and dismissive to claim this didn't happened, and suggested that I may have ordered from a different pizza restaurant. I expressed that I'm certain I ordered from them, as I have their phone number saved since I have been a customer for years. She again dismissed that, said they were very busy, and that it didn't happen. No apology, no resolution. Yikes. What a way to treat a...

I am not one to write reviews, but this experience pushed me past my limit. I ordered a medium combo pizza and brought it back to work to share. When I opened up the box, I could not believe how skimpy they were with toppings. Maybe 3 oz of Hamburg sparsely spear over the top, no onions. My wife called the owner to discuss with him and was met with a lot of rudeness,almost to the point of calling her a lier..I further found out that I was charged 24.00 for a pizzas that should have cost 15.00 according to their website. I will never use this company again,it’s to bad people in that kind of business behave that way instead of trying to come to a solution or even offering some kind of apology. I am not looking for anything,but think this situation was handled very poorly...
