I called to place an order. I was put on hold (I timed it) for 10 mins. The lady (not Maria) said they were extremely busy after I mentioned we were now in the parking lot because of the long hold. I placed an order and was told 25 mins. I said ok and waited in the car for 15 mins and went inside to finish waiting. I went to the counter to pay and say that we were here. The lady said they would call when the order was done and she would tell them we were waiting inside. They we're NOT busy and only had 3 people walk in for pick ups. There were 3 people working and had time to talk among themselves. After waiting an additional 25 mins I went to the counter and asked where our order was. They looked for it and it was in the hot box - no idea how long it had been there. Keep in mind the whole time I was sitting and watching the "extremely" busy employees who were wandering around and talking to each other. The food was good but the busy employees could have been wiping off tables instead of visiting with each other because the booths & tables were all dirty. Next time we will see if Maria (who is EXCELLANT) is working before we order. We never have a problem if she's there. The only reason for 3 stars is because the food was good. If it were based totally on service it would be a minus 5. We had 2 grinders...
Read moreI came in at 8:45 before 9:00 pm closing time. Good sandwich, but lettuce and tomato were omitted, supposedly by mistake, but more likely those items were already put away. This is in a gas station so I sat there and ate half of it and watched as the person running the store got done and hit the lights and was out of there at 9:04. Now I have been in food service and there is no way to shut down a store in 4 minutes. If a place says it is open until 9, it should be prepared to serve until 9, or at least 8:55. To actually close 15 to 20 minutes early just because someone wants to get out of there and home early casts a very bad light on the business. If it takes 20 minutes to close, the end of their day should be 9:20, not 9:04. Pet peave of mine, granted, but a businesses integrity is on the line here. Just change the sign to say close at 8:45 and all is well. Anything else is a lie...
Read moreWe were visiting town and got pizza here. It is in a gas station, and I think that should set the expectations to a certain extent, but we were pleased enough with the pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and while there was tons of cheese (in a good way if you like cheese) there was only 1-2 slices of pepperoni buried under the cheese. If you like a greasy, cheesy pie then you’ll probably be fine here, otherwise look elsewhere. We came about 45 min before the stated closing time, but they closed early after our order and turned a couple people away. It was lazy and surprising to me. So I would not expect a lot...
