Tahoe Love Bakery — Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe

I wasn't going to send this and I thought about it all week long and I just want to say it is so so disappointing that after being referred to you by somebody who had an amazing order that not only were the cupcakes that we ordered not red velvet they were chocolate the frosting was so hard on top of the cupcakes that the frosting literally fell off of the cupcakes in a solid piece and it was not cream cheese frosting it was traditional sugar frosting from like a Safeway bakery, and I used to cook my kid's case this year I just didn't have time, and I'm just really sad that these were so disappointing other than the $13 figurines that I paid for the cupcakes went completely uneaten (even by the kids who are young enough that they just want sugar) and completely wasted. Really is heartbreaking after spending $75 for a dozen cupcakes that were nothing like what we wanted and not only that but also super disappointing that every other review was so good. Maybe just not the place where kids cupcakes but still super disappointing for $75 which is...

Update: 03/19/23 - Once again, I contacted Erin to make a very special 50th birthday cake for my wife. Erin is so easy to work with and ordering was super easy. The GF cake was such a hit at the party that everyone was claiming it was one of the best cakes that they have ever enjoyed. (Not best GF only, But best overall!) while in Tahoe, I will always keep coming back to Erin for the goodies….

After calling all over Lake Tahoe, looking for gluten free cupcakes for my wife’s birthday the following day, Erin returned my call and said that she’d be happy to bake the cupcakes for me. Not only did I get GF cupcakes, Erin allowed me to completely customize my order (flavor, color, vegan, frosting, sprinkles, etc.). At the party, the cupcakes were a huge hit! Everyone commented on how delicious and moist they were (many GF baked products are very dry). Erin and her tasty cupcakes saved me. My wife had a treat to hold her birthday candle....

Erin saved the day! My bday flower arrangements fell through and I needed someone to deliver a birthday cake today, on Sunday, when shops are closed. I got lucky Erin was open and had a nice cake pretty much with my name on it. She was very friendly and professional over the phone and gave me many options from frostings.
