Just went there. I tried ordering online because I'm pretty shy and ordering in person isn't always a comfortable experience for me. However the site wasn't working so I went in person. I get inside and I am the only person waiting to order. The 3 employees I saw there, one girl, a guy, and a woman in a red shirt (maybe the manager?) seemed busy but I don't mind waiting because I have previously worked customer service for years so I understand how it can be. Almost 3 or 4 minutes go by and they must see me standing there but nobody says a word to me not even a "I'll be with you in a minute". Then finally a girl goes to take my order and I asked for the Titan Turkey which is for my mom. The girl seems very confused and asked what is on it, I said provolone but at this point I'm worried because my mom likes her sand which a certain way and I'm not even sure what all goes on the Titan Turkey (I realize now the ingredients were listed on the board menu but wasn't aware of that at the time and neither did she). She then tells me its her first day, so I ask if someone else could make the Sandwhich, not because I didn't think she could but because I wanted to make sure my mom got the sand which she was expecting and I didn't think having another employee make it would be a big deal. If I knew I wouldn't have asked. So the guy employee comes and in an interrogating tone asked me why I didn't want her to make it. And so nervously I said she said she didn't know what was on it ect and he said " well she needs to learn by doing it" and I said maybe she could use some supervision since it's her first day. He then proceeds to make the sandwich and while it is in the oven he is looking at the girl and making what seemed like bad remarks about me. He then asked if I was getting another sandwhich, which originally I was going to get one for myself as well but I said no because I was so extremely uncomfortable at that point I just wanted to leave. The guy seemed scary and overall the environment was very unwelcoming and most likely I won't return to this...
Read moreIts disgusting in there. I used to go there all the time and now I feel like I'm forced to go there if I want Subway because there isn't another one in South Lyon close to my home. I'm going to have to start going to the Subway down by the old South Lyon High, even though its 3 miles farther. That ones new and beautiful.
I walked in there the other day and there was an individual i'll call "C". She was complaining about the other individual working (Who looked to be in her late 50's) out back smoking her cigarette. Once she came in the looks of disgust on her face were horrible. Her tone and demeanor on how she was acting was completely unprofessional.
Next, the woman working there who I'll also call "C", who I believe is some type of a manager because she was wearing a black shirt, was throwing trays and trash around like crazy. She was pulling bread out of the oven and literally throwing the empty bread pans on the top of the heater. It actually startled me at first because I was looking at my phone in an attempt to ignore the incompetence of the workers. The place was a mess and wrappers / litter covered the countertops and floor. The wouldn't stop complaining how another individual didn't show up for work. Very unprofessional.
I never thought I would see the day my food was mishandled but the way they squished the bread and wrapped sandwiches was horrible... just completely sloppy with EVERYTHING.
Towards the end, the younger "C" kept looking at the customers inline and commented not once, but twice that "I need a cigarette". This to me was hypocritical seeing that she was 15 minutes ago (YES, I waiting 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches) complaining about her colleague.
The place and environment is disgusting and I was inches from walking out, however I hadn't eaten all day and...
Read moreI went in today to order two foot-long subs, there was no one at the front counter, but a kid looked out the back hall door to see if anyone was there. All of a sudden three workers came out of the back and asked me what I wanted. I started my order with The first sub and he started to make it as he was laying the meat on the first sub a fellow coworker saw a friend outside and yelled hey Nathanâs outside the kid making my sub, ran through the back, kitchen out the door past me and out the front door stopping making my sandwich. I was shocked at what was happening I said are you kidding me and the next kid said Iâll finish making them. how unprofessional I would fire that kid on the spot in the middle of making my sandwich. He decided to run outside to see his friend. The new kid started making my sandwich and the kid came back in talking about his friend and how it was cool to see him I couldnât believe what was happening. The kid who ran outside started to help make my sandwich and I told him donât touch anything. Let the kid who started finishing making my sandwich finish. I cannot believe an establishment will employ people who will just stop making your food in the middle and just run outside and do whatever they want where is management in this place? This is just ridiculous. God help the kids in this town! Jesus! hey management, if youâre reading this figure out whoâs working for you and figure out how to better serve...
