Beautiful location with plenty of parking. Making a reservation would be good, but not necessary. The aviance of the resturant and bar are exceptional. The have a hand out letting you know about the place and the town highlights. Food is superb for where is it located with a small but excellent section to fit anyones food preference. Wonder wine selection for your lunch or dinner choice. Pricing is around $$ per plate which is expected for this type of dining experience.

This place is a classic gem. The town and local area are charming. The Yellow Breeches Creek and Appalachian Trail pass closely by. This place feels so familiar and welcoming. The staff is lovely and the food is very good. The cowboy cut pork chop was the best I have ever had. It was huge, perfectly cooked, and perfectly done. The bartender was classy and welcoming. I will surely go back.

Had a wonderful lunch experience at the Boiling Springs Tavern. Great location along Applilachian Trail and next to the boiling. Spring. We had the Carbonaro with scallops and the Salmon BLT, both were seasoned to perfection and had great flavor. Prices are very reasonable and well portioned. Staying nearby and the food was superior by far.

I have been here a few times and it is always wonderful...

The building is a historic old place with lots of charm...the bar is beautiful. Really nice place for a date or special occasion.

We started with the Baked Artichoke Dip and they had a special raw Tuna Carpaccio, I was a little suspect of raw fish in a country tavern...but to my surprise it was absolutely wonderful! and the dip was delicious.

I had the Scallops Mediterranean - everything I love Scallops feta cheese, tomatoes, kalamata olives, garlic butter and white wine over basmati rice - it was divine.

My date indulged a guilty pleasure with the Veal Benett, medallions of veal with artichoke hearts, fontina, roasted peppers, mushrooms and cream. I don't usually eat veal, but I have to say it was wonderful.

The staff and the service here is first class, the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the menu, we had lots of questions and she was right on point.

The bar here is really nice also...if I lived closer I would frequent it often - no shortage of top shelf here.

I will be back - and it won't be soon enough, this is one of the best restaurants in the Central Pa area.

Pro Tip - go here for a date or special occasion - bring along some stale bread lying around, or stop at the store and pick up a cheap loaf of bread. When your dinner is over there is a beautiful lake across the street which is perfect for a stroll - take your bread and feed the Ducks, Geese and if you're lucky a Swan or two - they will come right up to you... perfect way to cap off a romantic evening -...

We went during the week so it was not too crowded. The menu has a good variety for each course. I had a Caesar salad which was absolutely delicious. Then I ordered veal bennett. It came with roasted potatoes and a crispy fresh vegetable medley. The veal was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The wine sauce that was drizzled over it was light and mildly delicious. Finally, for dessert, I shared the raspberry swirl cheesecake with my husband which was very creamy and delicious. We were not rushed and enjoyed a wonderful evening. I would definitely recommend Boiling...

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I havs been told that the food is generally pretty good. But I had a sandwich that was listed as a Philly cheesesteak that had some sort of sauce that tasted barbecue - like. It wasn't what I expected. The onion rings also were a bit of a let down. The batter was nice but the onion inside was just a thin sliver. I still give it 4 stars because my friend enjoyed her turkey pita and has eaten here before and liked it. I just think I picked the...
